We used to go there for years, but after yesterday's awful customer service experience they lost our business. We came yesterday at 5.10pm (they close at 6pm on Sunday, so it's still good 50 minutes (not 5 min!!!) till the closing that is perfectly enough for small children to enjoy, play and wind themselves out. It happened that I came first among other parents. First of all there were 3 receptionists but they didn't pay any attention to me and just casually had a chat between themselves. When I called for attention and told them that I was there WITH the party of my friend (name is omitted for privacy reason) they didn't bother to look through their notes (though my friend called them the day before and told them that there would be guests who would come as a group for her son's birthday celebration)- they just immediately told me: "we don't have those names, we close at 6pm, you came to the wrong place" and literally pointed me to the door! Again, they didn't bother to look through their journal or where else they kept their record- they simply didn't want to let a child in 45(!!!) minutes before closing! That's uncalled! You don't want to work on Sunday evening- don't keep your business opened then, but it's unacceptable not to let people in when there is still almost an hour of their business being opened! And all that was presented not in a nice friendly apologetic way- they were openly rude and didn't try to hide their aggravation that somebody "dared to come on Sunday evening." And that attitude came not from a hired personal but from co-owners themselves. That's not an acceptable customer service experience- they lost our business and I'd make sure to pass that information along to many of our friends and acquaintances with small children that "apparently we are not welcomed there if we "dare to come" 1 hour before their...
Read moreWe where looking for a place to take our 2 year old daughter to let out some energy since she's been cooped up due to the recent snow storm. We found out about this place through a Facebook group. We walk in yesterday and where greeted by very nice lady. This place is huge. Two of the areas were blocked off, guessing due to not having enough staff to monitor all areas. I was extremely surprised how many parents were not wearing masks. I didn't see any signs anywhere that they were required. They did have hand sanitizer available. We did see one of the staff cleaning the play areas which was great to see. We would have stayed longer but we didn't feel comfortable due to the amount of people not wearing masks. Pre and post covid, this place would be great. I know as a business, it has to be extremely tough to enforce masks for adults, but sometimes a small loss of business is good in order to protect others. This place if covid wasn't an issue would easily get 5 stars from me. Our daughter had a great time and we would love to bring her back. Maybe today was an off day...
Read moreI took my two great grandchildren there, with the oldest one expecting to have great fun. He did, until he wound up being harmed by a bully. Coincidently neither that child's parent nor any staff was around. I observed the incident from across the way. Now I had been watched the whole time I was there. I realized it was because we were the only ones there who did not look like everyone else. In fact, the Manager had approached me at one point and asked me if we were leaving prior to this incident, and I said no. (Never figured out why he would ask that.) Later I thought, well, maybe it was a hint and we should have left then. I let the child and the parent (who told me I was ignorant because I did not want to speak with him) know that the bullying was unacceptable behavior. I assured the manager that that we would not ever return. I feel they probably prefer that certain people not patronize their...
