I was I will ride on my bike with my dog I always like to get her a puppuccino and I didn't have too much money but I wanted to get something for myself but they insisted on giving it to me for free which I thought was very nice. So I put the money and their tip jar at the same time another customer had came into the restaurant and went towards the bathrooms after I finished ordering I went to the bathrooms and I was in his bathroom accidentally he assured me that it was okay he was washing his hands and he was leaving so of course I waited even though I really needed to use that bathroom. When he left the bathroom the lady was extremely persistent on the times of closing she was explaining to us that she had one more minute before she had to lock the door unfortunately this was not an option for me so when the man left I locked the door. I tried to talk to her through the door and beg her to at least let me use the facilities but her reply to me was that she was going to call the authorities. Now for all of us out here we should know by now as adults that that is a waste of our police officers time there could be much worse things out there that they could be attending to. She came back up to the door and announce that they were closing again in one minute I said one minute can you please just let me finish and I will be on my way. She said no the police will be here in 20 minutes I said I'm pooping in here. She said that she didn't care and that the law enforcement had already been called and we're on their way. So I painfully completed using the facilities and in a rush I left the bathroom speaking to the woman she had me so frustrated I had almost forgot my order. I mean my bicycle was still parked dead front of the restaurant with lights on still running but she was very rude and unsympathetic. She said her reasoning was she has a very strict and she has to look out for the safety of her customers and employees. Well I immediately thought to myself what about my safety? Am I not worth staying open a few more minutes while they close the store down which you know is not going to get done in one single minute. I felt very embarrassed stereotyped I wonder if it would have been one of her family members for loved ones if her feelings on this matter would be the same? My name is Mike Collins I've lived in this neighborhood over 5 years. I am not a violent or harmful person I'm just a regular person I wrote this today to hopefully make you aware that there are several ways that things can happen you can't always just go off of your first inspection of a situation. I visit this store at least 1s a week so you know you recognized me....
Read moreI get a Starbucks every day. I’ve been a loyalty member since conception. I have been getting more and more disenchanted with the Starbucks by my house by the day. I realize it is hard to get people to work. They’ve had a major turnover. That is not the point I want to make at this time. I love coffee. I get the same thing every day. I had to switch to nonfat milk. I am on a strict diet and counting every calorie. I went to Starbucks today to order my usual which is a grande size. I was told they could not do a grande size because they did not have that cup size in stock. I was told that I should order a tall or a Venti. I asked if I could have the grande size in a Venti cup and they replied no. This is not the way you treat a loyalty number. I realize there are supply constraints but you should try to make your customer happy. I should not have to pay for a larger size drink if I do not want one. And I should not be forced to drink a smaller drink when I look forward to this every day.
I do like Starbucks coffee however I am not opposed to trying Scooters which is not as convenient but I have noticed multiple locations in the city. I will probably do that as soon as I use up the money on my loyalty card.
I will say I decided to drive to the Starbucks in Nichols Hills Plaza and they do have grande size cups. They also have plastic straws which I prefer. I feel like the customer should be given a choice between paper or plastic straws. I will not be ordering coffee from the Starbucks at May Avenue and Grand...
Read moreNew Supervisor Caleb (who has been working there a lot less time than I have been a customer of this Starbucks)
Informed me that my drink was going to be 10.00 instead of the regular 7.00 and he wasn’t allowed to give me the amount of Almond Milk that I usually have in my espresso. He continually repeated to the point of interrupting me again and again he was concerned strictly with policy. He was more concerned with policy than customer service.
He repeatedly talked over me instead of actually listening to me. He heightened the situation. He was more concerned with justifying his actions than keeping a regular customer that spends hundreds of dollars a year at his store.
This store is 1/4 mile from my house and I will no longer buy from it.
When I get done with the 50 dollars on my Starbucks card now I will no longer go to Starbucks because of this young man’s behavior.
Get better...
