Texas Roadhouse — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

We came to Texas Roadhouse for my 10-year old birthday ... What a horrible night.!!!! Texas road house for a birthday dinner there was about 4 or 5 different families in the group we receded our waiter's name was Tiffany and her hair was dyed I think kind of a oranges pinkish white light blonde or something like that anyway she was very rude she was slow we got there three family set we're set after us I will tell you that those families left when we were getting our food served to us that's how long it took us to get our food number one anyways one of the family's in my group complained about her service and her being slow told her about herself and ask her for her manager told her that she was slow and ask for the manager manager came his name was Jacob s c h i m d t and he just kept asking us did we want anything he never addressed the young lady the issue that that we had with her in our table our food came out about another the rest of the food actually came out you know about 15 minutes later took a while and we never got more French rolls so we had the same cold rolls when we first got there needless to say they said what they had to say about the young lady me with a birthday girl with the last one to leave with my children 2:11 and 14 and I asked her for the card after they do the birthday sing shout out thing when you sit on the saddle they give you a free appetizer card so I asked her for the free appetizer card this is Tiffany so she started rolling her neck out loud and belligerent and told me I'm not going to do anything for you I'm not getting anything for you you want something at the front after the way you guys talk to me my remind you again as I told her excuse me ma'am that is very rude I didn't say anything to you or about your service but now I am she was slow to get our order then I ordered a drink she never got it I end up going to the restroom came back you still never got it so I ordered my own drink and let them know to add it to my tab the lady was rude I talked back to her manager and just told him like she just embarrassed me in front of my children defamation of character in front of my children in front of these people and I never said anything and all he could tell me at all talk to her or I'll go get the card I said I deserve a public apology just like you publicly denounced that she wasn't going to do anything for me and get anything for me when I was never rude never said anything about her service but I am now it was horrible not to mention I've been over 157 really okay they should have did something different this was out of line and he told me the manager Jacob that he could not make her apologize and then he got mad at me and tried to say he's got loud and a little bit and said that I told him you can't throw nothing manager's name and number because I will be calling in on her hopefully they read this thing they'll get to me the other couple of the other family will be renting about this nice visit my party reservation was at 7:00 y'all... I have never been so belittled until in front of my children or the restaurant. And then blame for something that I didn't even do and or say thank you please reach out to me general manager of Texas Roadhouse South I-240... We went yesterday, and my wife and I picked out a couple of steaks from the display with a host before being seated. I chose a nice-looking 20-ounce bone-in ribeye with the biggest cap on it. My wife opted for a 16-ounce sirloin. The host gave us a little ticket and placed matching tickets on the steaks we selected. I’m on the carnivore diet and only eat meat, eggs, and dairy products. I really wish restaurants had options for carnivore sides or sold steaks à la carte. Most places make no effort to accommodate. I asked about any options, and the waitress just gave me a blank look. How hard would it be to substitute a couple of slices of bacon, eggs, or even some cheese? When I go to Land Run Grill, they swap out the two sides for one shrimp skewer, and I appreciate that.

I ordered the 20-ounce ribeye, medium rare with only salt and pepper, and gave the waitress my special ticket. My wife did the same with her sirloin. We waited forever and finally got our steaks. My wife’s sirloin wasn’t too bad; it had a pretty nice red center. My ribeye was cooked past medium, with no red inside at all. I thought about sending it back, but I hate doing that and we didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for my steak. I started eating it from the tail end and didn’t notice, until over halfway through, that the steak didn’t have much of a cap at all. No way was this the steak I picked out! Strangely, the inside of the steak lacked so much color it looked like a pork chop. On our way out, I looked at the display case and saw that nice-looking steak with the big cap still there with my ticket on top. I mentioned it to a staff member, and they couldn’t have cared less.

The worst part is they don’t have any real butter in the building! They only use a margarine blend. How can a restaurant not have any butter? It should be illegal for restaurants to use margarine and call...

Yesterday after we had been at ballgames we decided to stop and eat. It turned out to be the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in 50 years of eating out. Our waitress was horrible, I have never experienced someone so rude. When the food arrived it was mostly wrong. My green beans had something hard in them which broke a tooth. This was painful and happened with the waitress at the table. She saw and said NOTHING just walked away and said came back later to say a manager would be there soon. They forgot the shrimp on my friends plate and she ended up taking that to go, the burger was way over cooked to the point it was hard and the boys never got their refills. The waitress was barely at our table, I think I offended her by the first thing I said was asking for more rolls. She hatefully commented yes but first my name is (I don't remember) I only asked because the boys had been playing in a baseball tournament and were starving. I should have never done that as it started the service out the worse I have ever had and that is a fact guaranteed. The manager was ok, I felt more of a burden to her than anything. Maybe had I put make up on and looked more presentable we would have been treated better. What used to be one of our favorite spots for the last at least 10 years is now I place we have no desire to return to. I was so disappointed in that meal and for the first time ever I did not leave a tip. I never do that regardless of how bad the service is because like we had a very bad day others do also and deserve some grace. This meal was to the point that this was not even an option.
