To be honest I never felt so uncomfortable in my life I am from Florida I've been in Oklahoma for 6 months that was my first time going to this Wendy's I was in the process of getting ready for a costume party at my job but because some of my children were home I was planning on bringing them breakfast so instead of me taking my costume to my house and coming back I went right to Wendy's because I had to use the bathroom that was perfect in some ways I was thinking I could knock two birds out with one stone so I walked in Wendy's the first thing I asked was can I use the bathroom because I really had to go bad I wasn't going to go outside and disrespect their company like that cuz I wouldn't want nobody to do that to my company and one guy told me that I would have to purchase something first I was kind of shocked because I've been going to Wendy's my whole life and that was just my first time going there I still end up purchasing a drink and when he went to give me the drink I told him to keep it because I really just had to pee I don't want to waste no time so they finally open the bathroom door I went in there did my business wash my hands came out I ordered five chicken biscuits and five of the seasoned fries and I guess the guy started having a change of tune a little bit he still tried to offer me the soda and I told him I don't want it I didn't come here for no soda I came here to use the bathroom and purchased some food so after I purchased my food I notice that there was a lady that handed me my food she put the order together I gave her $5 but just know that I was going to give that guy $10 you have to understand me I was a tire man for 15 years in Florida is well documented all over my social media if anybody wants to see I was trying to tell him that he was going to have a great day and plus it's Halloween and I just got paid from my job he was going to have a blessed day and I told him you know sometimes you can't judge a book by his cover and I also let him know that he messed up I can tell in his face he know he messed up and whoever that manager was she should have told him because I didn't come in there looking like I was homeless and I don't want to say the other thing that I think was going on but that's okay you guys had a potential really good customer and you didn't even know it sometimes it's humans we can be real stubborn and I can stop our blessings anybody who sees this review know I just got off of work but I'm really upset about this and I hope somebody can point me out to a better Wendy's with...
Read moreEXTREMELY disappointed with how my mother & I just saw a new employee being treated here. Manager and fellow employees (likely enabled & encouraged by poor management) were just on top of him every second tearing him down. Not only is that not how you mold an employee, much less treat a human being, but he looked really young too if not a minor, and I would assume by the way they're treating him as a screw-up he's their scapegoat for their OWN mistakes on top of that. We actually came back in missing an item while the manager putting him down was the one bagging the food, and thus likely the one that made that mistake.
An example was he was told to grab a small cup at one point. He grabbed and filled one of the kiddy cups, a normal mistake especially if this happens to be his first fast food job, and instead of being corrected in a normal manner the manager just kept yelling "WHAT IS THIS?" repeatedly. Mind you, they were excessively busy. Not only would have calmly, clearly correcting him taken far less time than repeatedly shouting at him and degrading him, but I think the fact acting in this manner was prioritized over tending to customers or focusing on their orders might explain some of the problems we've had with missing items and poor food quality at this location.
On top of that, the manager threw away our receipt we brought in to get our item, so aside from being inconvenient if you're trying to track your finances, if there was a survey to complete where we could submit this complaint directly to someone higher up or anyone contacts us about this and wants that receipt as proof we're actual customers, we don't have it.
We've been frequent customers here, usually once if not multiple times a week, especially since it's the closest location to home. But we refuse to support poor management and a toxic work environment. Treat your workers like human beings.
& If you're looking for a new job? Definitely avoid this location. There's plenty of other places around here that will appreciate you more and actually put effort into...
Read moreToday around 11:00 AM went inside to order at the counter the employee said he’d be right with me. Cool. But I end up standing there for like 10 minutes getting absolutely ignored. I wouldn’t have thought anything of it until the man who came in AFTER me was served and he was on his way. Also, I asked if I should just go through the drive thru because I’m not getting my order taken inside and this man looks at me and says “I have to help my customers” like what? I am your customer I’ve been standing here waiting and you’re not helping me. That really upset me. I ended up walking out without my order taken! Then I went to the drive thru since that seems to be one of their biggest priorities, and sat there for about five or six minutes without anyone taking my order. I just drove off. I can see he was busy putting orders together but it would take you not even 2 minutes to take my order. I feel like I need to say this again, they hurried to help the man that was behind me in line like I hadn’t been standing there waiting first. It was a white dude working in the front at that time. I wish I would’ve gotten his name but I didn’t think about writing this review until I arrived at home and thought about how disrespectful that was to me. This is my first time going out of my way to do this. I would say the service was terrible but I didn’t even get any service. Whatever manager that reads this please talk to ur Sunday morning staff about not ignoring...
