PUT MONEY DIRECTLY IN THE HAND OF THE PERSON TAKING YOUR ORDER. You are completely IMPOLITE putting it on the counter from them to grab it. Would you like if someone didnt hand you your recipet? Or better yet YOUR FOOD? Let them just sit it on the counter and have you get up from the table to grab it yourself. NO double standards.
You never know how someones day is going or even what they have going on in their life in general. so again DO NOT make someones day harder by nagging and harrassing them at their job.
The workers ARE human. MISTAKES happen. (Please let me know if you are a human that has never made a mistake so i can applaud you by the way.) SO if thats the case POLITELY tell them what is the matter so it can be freshly remade. EVEN AT TIMES THEY WILL EVEN SUPPLY A FRESH FRY OR EVEN A COOKIE/PIE as an apology. So try to be nice.

Came here at 8:45 on a Wednesday night. For some reason this location always has long drive thru lines but they are few Whataburgers in OKC.
Every single time I have come here it has taken too long to get my order. It took 30 minutes for them to make a $20 order but the food was so good, especially for “fast” food so I just pushed it aside.
Tonight, however, a lady I assume got tired of waiting, drove off. I completely forgot about it by the time we got to the window and when the guy asked me if I had what she ordered I didn’t really think much of it and was listening to my friend. When I looked over and only saw a medium sized cup when I know meals come with a large, I turned to my friend and told her “I don’t think that’s mine”. At this point, we both remembered that the lady drove off and it was hers. I waved my hand to get the cashier’s attention and he looked at me and just went back to looking at the screen. When he finally did open the window, I informed of the misunderstanding. His response?
“I asked you before.” Followed by the slam of the drive thru window. I have worked in the food industry before and I know that some customers are just crappy, but even when they are being rude you still have to remain friendly as to which “Tim” (his name) did not. This place is usually a hit or miss because their food presentation could either be normal/food or terrible. This time it was terrible. Luckily we had extra hamburger buns in the fridge to replace it but the hamburger bun was not even on the hamburger it was sliding off and it was soggy. It was disgusting. Their food was cold. It tasted like left overs. The drink was TERIBlE too! I’m t tatsed like carbonation water. There’s no point of having a sprite. I think they to forgot to out the lemon lime setup or it’s ACTUALLY left over just like their food. There wasn’t even the tiniest of sup of flavor of actual sprite. They forgot to give us any correct sauce they asked us if you wanted sauce and we said both. They only gave us two spicy. Our order was 3 spicy and 3 regular/fancy. The lady who took our order said” welcome to what burger.” Did NOT even say what would like to order do you have mobile order. You have to say more than that. 🤦♀️. As you see in the picture of the receipt we ordered 3 spicy and 3 regular didn’t get that. They didn’t give us our 3rd drink so we had to ask for our other drink.
