A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Olathe

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Firstly, the place looks completely run down and is not fit to be running. The building is nearly torn apart. I went to redeem a reward I had gotten because it was my birthday. When I got to the drive thru, I was told I had to come around to the window to redeem my reward. The lady was an older black lady (not being racist, just want management to know exactly who I had the experience with) was very rude and impatient. I showed her my reward and she told me it was not the right part that needed to be shown, which is fine. I tried looking for it and before I could find the reward, she told me to go somewhere else and shoved the window closed in front of my face. Her attitude, demeanor, and overall aura made me so uncomfortable that I just left the place. I hope this place gets shut down soon and that lady learns how to treat other humans with respect. Place just seems to be falling a part. It seems worse every time we go. The chicken and fish are really good. But the restaurant has a bad smell and some of the sides are not very good. This used to be a great establishment. I think they need an upgrade to keep up with modern times. LJS is one of my husband's, brother in laws, and my dad's favorite restaurants. Service was great. Food was ok. The staunch of sewer we smelled from our car should've gave us a clue to not go in. It must've been so horrendous inside the lady next to us was coughing and puking on her table. Not sure if it was because she was sick or the sewer smell that caused her to vomit. You would think they would've left, but no, they stayed as she continued to cough and puke even more causing us to leave. Food was great, except the fried Twinkie tasted like it was fried with the fish. Shame on the management to let the sewer issue become so bad. There's not many A&Ws...
