Our experience on December 30th, less than great. The hostess that is normally up front is never very friendly (we have eaten here a few times). She never greets us, just asks how many and never smiles, acts like we are an inconvenience. Tonight she was exceptionally smug when we walked in because it was still pretty quiet (around 4:30-before dinner rush), and it even appeared like she rolled her eyes when we told her there were two in our party.
We were seated at a table and waited almost 10 minutes for a server to come to our table. It was the female server I had watched the whole time we were waiting just standing around talking to one of the guys that was working. She was also less than friendly when approaching our table...seemed like we were a pain in her butt too. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and she disappeared. Our drinks sat on the bar for another 5-10 minutes at least. At least 5-8 workers walked by before we even got chips and salsa about 20 minutes in to being there at our table. We finally got water and chips, then our drinks from the bar and our appetizer was delivered with no plates.
Unrolled the silverware and it was caked with old beans and cheese, both the knife and the fork...very gross.
The waitress took our dinner orders and told us that they may have found someone for our table or something to that affect. 10 minutes later a waiter stopped by and asked if we needed more drinks.
We had finished our appetizer and a whole basket of chips and almost 30 minutes had gone by and the waiter that asked about drinks approached our table and asked if we needed to order any food... We explained we had ordered about 40 minutes ago with the waitress we started with. The waiter was very nice and very friendly and helped out a lot once he took over. Manager finally came over and apologized and said they would have the food out right away and proceeded to bring us the wrong food. So they re-made what we ordered and after an hour and 20 minutes we finally had the food, it tasted great. Manager gave us a free dessert for our experience and trouble.
Overall the food is good here but I feel like the female staff especially are not professional or nice to the customers. The welcoming vibe is not there and there needs to be better efficiency...
Read moreI came here Sunday by myself for Father's day because my wife was working and the 2 boys were also working I have been here before and normally the service is good. I sat at the bar and I ask the lady bartender If I can have dos Equis on tap and said it's not working I opted to get another beer because she said it was not working. I had a feeling the keg just needed to be replaced she poured a glass of dos Equis for another customer and so I asked her so is the tap working now she abruptly said yes and kept ignoring me I also placed an order for my meal and to make a long story short I called her again and asked why did you tell me the tap was not working and it was anyways she just didn't care and I told her cancel everything I am going somewhere else instead of apologizing she just simply said ok, I them told her you are Rude she replied you too. I lost it and asked for the manager I spoke with Ivan and I told him I came here to have a decent meal and expected good customer service. Instead I get a bartender with a big attitude. Ivan said well I can sit you over here instead. I told him I said I don't want to be looking at her. I'm ready to leave. He said no. I'll take care of you to make a long story short. They sat me on the other side of the restaurant and so he took the order that I had placed and I was thinking maybe he would give me at least like a discount. I'm not looking for a free meal at the end of the day. He charged me the full price. I am never going back to that place again and I am going to look for the manager. I'm not sure if Ivan who is a youngster even spoke with that bartender. The other lady who was standing to me when I sat down on the table was trying to make an excuse. Oh she maybe she's just a little tired and I replied. I said maybe she should clock out because it does not give her an excuse to be rude...
Read moreWe had a great dining experience and were especially impressed with the tacos and enchiladas. The flavors were bold and satisfying—perfectly seasoned meats, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Everything arrived hot and well-prepared, and it was clear the kitchen puts real effort into quality and consistency. The enchiladas were a standout, with tender meat wrapped in soft corn tortillas and covered in rich, savory sauce.
One of the most memorable parts of the visit was the tortilla-making machine at the front of the restaurant. The kids were completely mesmerized watching the fresh dough being pressed and cooked right before their eyes. It added a fun, interactive element to the meal and gave everyone an appreciation for how fresh the food truly is. The tortillas that came to the table were soft, warm, and had a great texture—definitely a highlight of the meal.
We’ve also tried a few other menu items on past visits, including their fajitas and carne asada. The fajitas arrive sizzling and are generously portioned with a colorful mix of peppers and onions. The carne asada is grilled to order and full of flavor, with a nice char on the outside. The rice and beans that accompany the meals are flavorful and not just an afterthought. The chips and salsa served beforehand are also fresh and addictive, especially the spicy salsa that has a little extra kick.
Service has always been consistently friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile, and our server made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They were great with the kids, too, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s a fun, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you want to come back, whether for a casual night out or a special dinner with friends...
