Delicious!!!!! Must try! Great Pollo Asada! Delicious salsas and beans with rice! Portions are great for the price. Staff is very friendly!! Also very pocket friendly. This will be a regular spot for me. So glad they chose Olathe for their business!
Update: I am not sure what's going on but it appears to have new people running the truck. I visited before noon and the chicken was so dry and hard and chewy. Also the peppers were soggy as if they had been reheated. Very disappointed. I won't be back as this is the second time this has happened in the last couple months. Short cuts don't pay.
Update: 10/2023 Still terrible, actually worse! This time I opened the bag and something smelled burned. I saw the chicken skin and it had grill marks. I tasted it and the taste was of burnt skin. I believe they burned chicken or something on the grill and just kept cooking on it. So even though that part of the chicken wasn't burned it tasted like it. I had pieces that were also clearly burned on one side. You could tell this chicken had been sitting in preparation to be sold. I think they are over prepping and using warmers. Even McDonalds pulls their meat right off the grill. This is a permanent decision...
Read moreI have eaten here since it first opened but as of late it has really went downhill as far as fresh chicken and flavor. I even tried going different times of the day and the chicken is still old and dry. The beans have never been the greatest but today they were undercooked and to top the entire experience off the green salsa was SALTY. The salsa was inedible which I was depending on to combat the dryness of the chicken because I didn't want to just throw it all away and I could not take it back as I had spent my break going to get it. I don't know what happened to the original cook however something needs to change or this truck may start...
Read moreMmmm, the chicken here is FIREEEE. Guys I literally mean just there meat. I was not able to try there steak but there chicken did not disappoint. They offer different combos that come with rice, beans, tortillas and salsa. The tortillas seem microwaved because they fell apart almost instantly.. and this kind of sucked but there chicken definitely made up for it. If I was eating this at home I would recommend making your own rice and beans along with warming up tortillas yourself. We ate at the location because our plans were a little scattered and we wanted to eat right away, the weather was nice and they had benches with tables outside...
