Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Olathe

Several weeks ago I ordered my coffee with heavy cream and was asked if I wanted it steamed. I'm not sure. So I don't have many other times when I get the rude coffee which is usually excellent with heavy cream and ask for a team is fine. A couple days ago at the brywood plaza mall location, I was informed that that had to be a Cafe Ole and they I said that's $5 and change. I'm like what? Then he tells me that he changed it to a Cafe Ole without bothering to tell that he had done that. And he was like absolutely unapologetic about it after I explained that many times before I had not been charged for it. They did this before too with their free coffee deal which is nice but they would just change it from you could get decaf to all of a sudden you could. Every Scooters needs a mood ring on a so I can know ahead of time when they can be really super nice or real holes.

There's like a car to review them internally here but it didn't have a laugh a listed as a city in the menu this place is in all that way. So anyhow. I thought I was going to get the cream steam not that I care that much. And this manager comes up out of nowhere or senior employee to her anyhow and insists that again it has to be a Casio layer of green is steamed and I assume they have refused. Then the menu is like almost impossible to like do the tipping thing and it makes no sense.I haven't started the whole thing kind of started with the employee frowning at me I think she didn't like my shirt or something. They gave my order to somebody else and then when they remade it didn't make it the way I wanted to but I just gave up. As I am on scooters. Too bad your coffee is amazing with heavy cream for a dollar it's a great deal.

Update: still the best coffee and service in KC. 😁 Updated again a year later: The best coffee. Period. I've been going back and forth between Ohio, Kansas and Arkansas for a while now, tins of coffee shops, tons of reviews, but this Scooters location has never once given me a substandard coffee. It's perfect every time. Consistently great coffee, outstanding service and a "must stop in" every time I come within 50 miles of KC. Go. Get you one.

Updated review: I've been coming here for months now, and I totally love this location. Cassandra and Allisa are the best and always get my order exactly perfect. It's pretty awesome to walk in and have them ask "the usual?" And always get it right. Feels like visiting family. 😁

Excellent staff, service and products. You need to stop in and try a blender! They're quite a treat.

Manager Danielle Winter offers exceptional service, vast knowledge of her products and personalized, quality suggestions to her customers. Her welcoming & professional leadership shined with our encounter & how she interacted with her staff. She personally invited me back tomorrow for a big event they're hosting for dog fostering.

The store is clean & inviting...the bright bird lumbar pillows offer added cozy, abundant soft seating plus table tops invite stay, & the decor mixes fun & stories.

My egg & cheese biscuit was just right. My brewed Carmelicious coffee with cold foam (her suggestion) offered a sweet treat without the calories & tasted scrumptious.

We've all experienced underwhelming & empathetic service lately. While I enjoyed my stay, I continued to hear Danielle's interactions with customers & staff. She & her team brought smiles to so many people! Danielle is that exceptional barista & leader in the coffee world & service industry we ALL want!!!
