My wife came through the drive-thru this morning to order my kids breakfast this morning. She had asked the female working the drive-thru window for a strawberry refresher, to which the employee replied, āwe do not have iced drinks.ā and then my wife had asked for a sweet tea, in which the Manager named Garnett started flipping out over the speaker and yelled at her that we donāt have any ice in an extremely rude manner. The manager should have started her greeting with, āWelcome to Dunkinā Donuts! We are currently out of iced beverages.ā My wife tried to explain to Garnett in which she had thought she was talking about.ā I mind you that my wife always comes to this location frequently every week and donates to all the charities that this location is collecting for, including one recently for an employee who had a car accident, which probably wasnāt true. It seems like every week, they are asking for donations, which I am genuinely questioning the causes. Itās quite evident with the yelps reviews and google reviews that the service here is terrible, and corporate should seriously take the time to train all the employees on the standards and hire employees who want to come to work and help their customers with a smile, especially the MANAGER, who should be a role model. How can you hold your employees to a higher standard when you have a manager who is rude and nasty? If the manager had taken the time to come to the drive-thru window instead of hiding around the corner to apologize for her actions and the miscommunication, I would not be leaving this negative review. I purchased 2 for $6 and the girl who took my order even repeated NO bacon and we talked about which way worked out less expensive to ring it up and she said ehhh itās all the same and just rang it up the 2 for 6ā¦but I made sure to repeat MULTIPLE times no bacon. Then when the cashier said 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, I said NO, no bacon. JUST egg and cheese, please make sure and he went oh ok. I paid, got home, and of course there is bacon on both sandwiches which means we can not eat either of them. I called to ask for my money back and I got a voicemail not even stating it was Dunkinā Donuts, just a generic leave your message your party is unavailable. I tried calling 3x and no one answered. What is infuriating is that not only can you not get ahold of someone but they literally just did not care about what I paid good money for. When you tell someone 5x and have to repeat and confirm and re-confirm your order and it is STILL wrong which leaves two people without lunch it is just awful- and then no way to even get ahold of them. Iāve been waiting for my refund for over 10 minutes and my entire ordering process was about 30-45 minutes. When I finally got to the window to pay and receive my lattes, they were white and creamy and I knew right away barely any espresso went into making this. After letting the employees know he takes my 1st drink and put espresso in the drink and melted my ice. When he handed it back to me it was watery at this point. I asked for a full refund, expecting some sort of swift action but no Iāve been waiting for atleast 20 minutes for my refund. No coffee just wasted time. This place seems understaffed.. two people working all areas of the stores. This is ridiculous.
