Planet Smoothie — Restaurant in Florida

I have been a patron at this store for about three or four years (500 visits logged). I travel often and get smoothies all over the country. I have always been impressed with our local branch. I average 2-3 visits a week and often buy 3-4 smoothies per visit for my family. I agree with all the recent negative reviews and I am at a point where I am considering never returning to this store. The single threaded scheduling on weekends is ridiculous. I have had to wait 20-30 minutes some visits before My smoothie is started while seeing the single staff overwhelmed doing their best. I’ve heard the new manager of the past few months motivates by threatening to fire the employees. The negativity has been toxic since she took over. The results is she lost a very good group of kids over a short period of time and the new ones are much slower. This same manager instructed the staff to take orders and charge customers before marking the smoothies or letting us know how far behind in line we were. So we LOVE the Planet Smoothie location in Carrollwood but this location - not so much. This may not be everyone's experience but my husband and I went in thinking this place would be the same as the other one. The young lady working behind the counter was sitting down, on her phone with Air Pods in her ears, giving off a vibe like she didn't want to be there. I didn't really mind. Sometimes you're just having a bad day and I totally understand. But neither my order nor my husband's order came out right. They were both watery and flavorless. I ordered a Chocolate Chimp without whey protein which could have thrown off the recipe but they were both pretty undrinkable. We each had to throw them out unfortunately. I don't want the young lady who was working to get in any trouble. She was not rude or anything like that. I just think maybe some more training to put your best face forward when you're serving others and maybe training on recipes would...

I usually don’t use google review but this time I just had to. I am not sure her name but the very sweet girl with a pretty smile who wore glasses made a hectic day of mine feel so much better. The place was so busy and she was the only one working and remained so calm and organized and never broke her smile. I felt like I was having a hard one but nothing compared. I have visited this Planet Smoothie in the past and the guy that was there was so robotic and unfriendly this young lady was definitely a refreshing change and Improvement. I hope she is there to stay because for that reason I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much girl you rock...
