A real jewel of a place hidden off the main road (Tampa Rd) in Oldsmar. What a delightful place. We were anxious to check out the Brazilian foods. We were welcomed and seated right away, and brought menus to look over. There was a bit of an issue up front in that the server did not speak English, so questions we wanted to ask was referred to the hostess that did speak English.
We got our usual waters, bottled this time. There was a really nice buffet with a nice variety of dishes, but at $40 a bit expensive for the four of us just wanting to sample some dishes. So we decided to order three different dishes to share. At the buffet I noticed a wonderful smelling Bean and Pork Stew, so I decided to order that. My wife ordered a Cheesesteak Sub that was huge. The Cheesesteak Sub was the hit, big enough to be cut into about eight pieces to share. I only had one of the pieces and concentrated on the Stew. Then, of course, we had to have a Chocolate Bundt Cake, which was moist and terrific.

Experience the taste and story of a hardworking woman realizing her dream of cooking authentic Brazilian food for friends in America!
A first time visitor, I found Jana's on Google and had no idea what I would find. I wanted to visit a local establishment, not a national chain.
Upon entering, I found a quaint, clean bakeshoppe with custom-made classics by the chef herself and her carefully-trained staff.
I had no idea what to order, so I asked Jana. She listened to what I was thinking and suggested a perfect dish for my desires, the "Bauru" with fresh baked bread, ham and cheese, tomato and spices. It was amazing.
Later I asked about the story of Jana's and she took time to tell. Truly inpiring! A little bit of her heart is served with each dish, pastry, and confection.

The food is authentically Brazilian and perfect for an afternoon coffee. Jana was very attentive and even gave us great tips about the city.
She mentioned they have a breakfast buffet on Saturdays, which looked incredible! They also serve fresh homemade food every day including beans, which she spoke about with so much pride.
