Revocup Coffee — Restaurant in Olivette

I was visiting St Louis with my husband and were on the hunt for a chai latte and saw Revocup pop up with amazing reviews. It was a little ways from our hotel in Brentwood but we decided it was worth driving up there to try it.

When we went in the space looked nice and it wasn't too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. I was a little hungry so I was looking to get a pastry and noticed they had several scones which are always a favorite.

The first person helping me didn't seem to be familiar with the scone flavors, but the second person came over to correct him and seemed more familiar with the options. I ordered a pumpkin scone and my husband and I both ordered chai lattes with oat milk. They pulled the scone from a fridge and asked if I wanted it warmed and I said yes knowing it was probably cold from the fridge.

We sat down to wait at one of the tables and not long after my scone was ready. I was very surprised that it was still cold and a bit tough to eat. Not long after one of the staff waived us over to tell us they couldn't find the chai mix. I do not drink coffee at all so I said that was ok and just asked for a refund. I really didn't mind, and was find finding another place to get the chai I was craving. She tried to offer coffee drinks and I explained that I do not like or drink coffee and would just prefer a refund. I'm not sure if she didn't want to process the refund or if she was trying to find another option because she felt bad, but she offered the matcha latte. I really didn't prefer to have matcha (I was in a chai mood), but since I had mentioned the refund twice already and she seemed to be resisting I just took the matcha. She asked if I wanted strawberry or vanilla syrup in it which I found odd but declined and said I don't prefer flavors in the matcha.

My husband had switched to a latte which he wasn't happy about, and he said it was ok but wouldn't describe it as good. The matcha ended up being not great and I tossed most of it and we ended up driving to another place to get chai anyway, so it was just a waste of money. I'm sure they were just having a bad day and it seemed like they were training a new employee, but I don't think I'll be back...

Let me start off by saying I love this little coffee place it’s nice and clean and have great coffee . Now I that got that out the way. My wife and I are always at Creve Coeur park and and we have a ritual that we get our coffee on Saturday to walk our 6mile with coffee in hand . The past two weekends we’ve been there there ‘s a nice young teenager there working the cash register don’t get me wrong I know she’s learning but both times she gotten our order wrong . So the guy that’s always there making the coffee both time gotten upset with us like we did something wrong, But remind you he’s only reading off the order receipt that’s in front of him . Then when we tell that’s not what we order he gets a attitude like it’s our fault. One thing that I learned is customer service can close a business down. You not the only coffee shop in the area . We paying 16 bucks for two cups of coffee with espresso someone else will be glade to have a great customers . We supported this establishment but even buying the big bags of coffee beans, Teas and pastries sometimes. It’s just disrespectful that someone will treat you like that when you supporting them . My wife was so mad she had a few choice words but we don’t do that in public.
