Here's the breakfast pizza breakdown: 4 Stars. The eggs are fluffy, the crust buttery, and the ham and bacon were top notch. We did a build your own. To earn five stars, I'd have liked to see more toppings spread across the pizza, and maybe a garlic-butter sauce or something with a bit more flavor under or in those eggs.
Here's the website and service breakdown: two stars. I called to check if they deliver to my location in Berea. The young-sounding man on the phone hmmd and ummd and then decided somewhat randomly that no, they did not. A neighbor said they did and just to order from the website. So that's what we did and voila! no issues. Angelina's needs to put a service map up for their employees AND ON THEIR WEBSITE.
Speaking of which, the website is lacking. I couldn't find a description of the basic breakfast pizza that you start with for build-your-own. Is there sauce? Are the eggs actual eggs or carton eggs? Are they scrambled or prepared some other way? (Yes, you can get fried egg bf pizza!) Are they straight eggs or a recipe?
Overall, I really did enjoy the bf pizza. It's one of my favorite things to get when I travel for work, so it was great to find it near home. Angelina's is a basic approach, but still very good. I hope they expand their bf pizza offerings. It can be so many things... An open-face egg sandwich, a scrambled delivery system, etc. In my travels, I've seen french toast bf pizza, sweet bf pizza with fruit on top, and savory bf...
Read moreThis was our first time picking up pizza from the new location. We ordered 2 large and a small cheesy breadsticks. I’m not sure what happened but we still have one pizza left? Maybe it was a miracle of the multiplying pizza. Or, the pizzas were large enough and filling enough to fill us up?
The cheese was my favorite part. The sauce is good too. The crust is very fresh too, but doesn’t seem to have any qualities to make it memorable.
My one main question about this restaurant is- what are ‘fresh Italians’? Their logo advertises them as ‘the fresh Italians’. I find that a bit strange and confusing. Is their family known for their strong grooming? So they smell fresh and clean? Are they known to be young- so they’re the new kids on the block? It would make more sense if it just said, ‘fresh, Italian’. But when it says ‘Italians’, you’re clearly indicating the people behind the food. I’ll assume the owners are known for their strong grooming habits.
Strong grooming habits and good pizza equals a pizza place worth trying. It won’t change your life, but it’s a good place to get...
Read moreMust have gotten them on a really bad day. Ordered sausage and the amount of sausage was very skimpy. Some pieces of pizza only had one piece of sausage on them. I ordered three medium sized pizzas. Never having order from there before I didn't realize the size of their medium pizzas. So I ended up paying $41 for 3 medium pizzas that were not very big and had skimpy toppings. I was very disappointed. Also the dough was undercooked so they didn't even taste good. When I called Angelina's to tell them how disappointed I was she did say that she was sorry but offered nothing further to make it right. Won't ever go back there again. For me it was a major rip-off. I only went there because they have 4.4 stars and my daughter and son-in-law were here doing special yard work for me and I wanted to give her a treat. I didn't realize what a mistake I was making. Next time I'll buy the cheap pizza and doctot it up...
