Do all the eating establishments have to be called a "BAR AND GRILL"?????? What happened to just "family restaurant". They all sound like a meeting place for Alcohol Anonymous. The label , to me does not sound family friendly. . Not to point fingers that you’re establishment. I’m sure the food must be good. My complaint is your establishment.Just happens to pop up on the list and it was labeled as a bar and grill. My main complaint is why on earth or there’s so many establishments Labeled as a bar And grill that don’t necessarily cater to family atmosphere. I look at the list in Thurston County as well as here in Pierce County and that’s all I see is bars and grills. What is wrong with that picture? I remember restaurants like Denny’s in places along the lines that catered to families not as a bar and grill. That’s the downfall of our society. We had one Denny’s here where I live that was bought out by a dope shop go figure. So not to be personal to you or your establishment I use it as an example of why There is so many bars and grills instead of family oriented . we have the same problem with our restaurants here in Pierce County. They were all labeled as a bar and grill. No hard feelings. There was a lot more establishments that fit the bar and grill criteria. And no family oriented type restaurants. There are, but there are a few and...
Read moreCame in with a friend, it was fine. The drinks are hella strong which is great but the food was bland and the bartenders were kind of rude.
My friend asked for tajin as a garnish. When they didn't have it she asked if maybe they had chili powder to mix with salt.
The bartender literally sighed and rolled her eyes but offered to check.
My friend assured her that she didn't need to if it was any sort of hassle, and that she meant to ask if they had it at the bar, the waitress insisted on checking the kitchen and then made an excellent garnish with chili powder and salt. Which was cool.
However, after that, one bartender in particular was pretty rude and impatient with us and ignored us quite a bit. The other bartender was still helpful, but around a lot less and her mood had shifted. Though she was professional.
At one point we asked for the SF giants game on one TV clarifying we wanted the SF giants. They turned down the NY giants instead and then after a few minutes switched it back to mariners. When my friend asked for them to switch it back they were rude and stated they wanted to watch the mariners.
But the mariners were showing on 5ish other tvs and we were only asking for the Giants on one equally sized TV.
It all just felt kinda rude and passive aggressive, so I tipped the minimum of 15% and hope...

At least two people were working in front of the house and there were maybe five people in the whole place.
They seemed so upset and put out that I came in and wanted a couple drinks and a sandwich. I paid 15 bucks for the worst French dip I ever had, and apparently $9 for an old fashioned that was absolutely disgusting. I only drank it because I knew if I said something, they would actively do something terrible to my drink.
When it was time to check me out, the guy took my card and dipped off for like 5 minutes. He was standing just a few feet away entering a bunch of other tickets. I was like hey man is everything okay with my card?
He got really aggressive and was like oh I was just entering these other tickets ahead of you. And I was like are those people who are here now or people who you have their card in hand like mine?
He got incredibly bitchy and this is the only time I will ever be here. I'm going to keep an eye on the account I used because I'm sure they did something sketchy. Why else would you be pissed for somebody wanting to have their card back after 5 minutes and you still haven't run their...
