Stopped in this morning for the second time at this location. First time was half-price coffee day. Stopped back in again this morning and ordered the same drink : 24 oz white on white with two pumps of pumpkin sauce made with oatmilk, no foam, extra hot. This coffee is $9.50!!! I got my coffee, pulled away, and realized my coffee was not even close to being full and warm at best. I opened the lid and saw that it was about an inch and a half from the top so I turned around. I pulled up and spoke to the gal at the window and explained to her that the coffee was not full and could I please get it full and extra hot please. She was nice and said sorry and absolutely would fix it. She was explaining to the barista what I was saying, then the barista making the coffee came to the window and asked if I was the lady that ordered no foam, I said yes and told me that when the foam dies back that that's how much coffee is in the cup. (Which is curious because I ordered no foam) I explained to her that I understood what she was saying but that's how low the coffee was when I pulled away. She remade the coffee and handed take me back the coffee that was double cupped,which I was happy about meaning that the coffee was extra hot. The coffee felt light again but I didn't say anything because I didn't have time to deal with it as this was the second time here. When I got to the light I opened up the cup out of curiosity and there was about 2 inches or more of foam on this coffee, I scooped off the foam and there was maybe 16 oz of coffee in this cup. This was intentional on the baristas part because she was fully aware that I ordered this coffee with no foam. I have gone to many Cafe Elite locations with zero problem ordering the same drink and getting a full cup of coffee. For $9.50 for a cup of coffee it is a choice where I get my coffee from. If I were the owner of this coffee stand I would want to know that this is how my barista is acting towards customers who are making the choice to come to THIS coffee stand and making the choice...
Read moreHello, to anyone thinking about grabbing some coffee here at Cafe Elite. I had a poor experience with an employee that was running the stand today. I want to say that I live on Olympia's east side I am a brick and stone mason by trade. I work in the area of Pacific Ave, the East Side and up to Slaterkinney often. I visit all sorts off food and beverage establishments that are in the area on my lunch breaks. I am bicyclists by hobby and also visit some of the coffee stands when I am out cycling on my weekends. Today I was riding my bicycle pulling into the stand. The dirt that had been swept into an area of the drive through entrance had kinda resembled regular tarmac. Well me corning a little too fast into the drive up widow, my front bike tire washed out in the sand and dirt. That caused me to take quite the spill where I smucked my face. I believe the lady in the stand witnessed the whole thing. I got up shaken and bloody now and went up to the window and asked can I please get a napkin. Read moreI used to love this Café Elite location, but over the last month or so, it has really gone downhill. I order delivery a couple of times a week, usually in the mornings, but both the delivery service and in-person experience have become consistently disappointing.
The wrong orders have become more frequent. A few weeks ago, it was just a mistake with cream cheese on my bagels. Annoying, but manageable. However, this morning was the last straw. I ordered a blended White on White and a hot White on White. What I got were regular mochas—no white coffee, no white chocolate. It’s like they’re not even reading the order properly.
I initially started coming here because Gravity Coffee down the street wasn’t worth the hassle—they even charge for drink carriers, which is ridiculous. Café Elite used to be a better option, but now I feel like they’re not putting in any effort.
It’s really disappointing to see a place I once relied on fall so far. Looks like I’ll be searching for a more local coffee stand that actually cares about its customers and takes pride in getting...
