A love letter:
Left Bank Pastry isn’t just a bakery…it’s a profound journey through the realm of flavors, a journey that truly touched the deepest chords of our hearts. 🌍
My boyfriend and I, self-proclaimed “all the delicious things” aficionados, embarked on a relentless quest for the perfect pastry. We found our way all the way to Paris, France, with the HIGHest of expectations. We even traveled to Left Bank and ate our way through patisseries. However, our revelation didn’t unfold in a grand Parisian establishment; it happened in Olympia, WA, at the Left Bank Pastry. 🥐🗼
Our love affair with their pastries all started during a wonderful staycation in Olympia. With the Olympia farmers market being our last stop before heading home, A simple buttery croissant 🥐 for the road led us to an extraordinary discovery. Thee discovery… the Kouign-Amann. It was the moment we tasted their enigmatic pastry that our souls were forever altered. It was like finding a long-lost piece of our hearts. 💎😭🤯
The Kouign-Amann from Left Bank Pastry has become an integral part of our lives, accompanying us through various life adventures. We embarked on a pilgrimage to their bakery during another staycation, an experience akin to a cinematic “Godfather 1 and Godfather 2” revelation. The freshness and flavor were ethereal, reducing us to tears of sheer joy. 🎥👨🍳😍😭 Every single bite, our heads tilt back letting out sounds that could only be described as pure happiness. Gratefulness. Love for the ability to taste. Adventure.
Their Kouign-Amann has followed us since. A fateful day when I realized I was always meant to meet this pastry. A very special client/friend also shared the gift of Left Bank Pastry with us, bestowing upon us the same divine Kouign-Amann. In that moment, we realized that we had stumbled upon the most perfect pastry creation and it traveled over an hour away to get into our mouths again. It moved us to literal tears, evoking emotions we never knew could be tied to pastries. 🎁🥐😢🤯
Left Bank Pastry has transcended mere pastries; they’ve become the embodiment of our fondest memories, our most cherished moments, and our purest indulgences. If you haven’t experienced their Kouign-Amann, you’re missing out on a profoundly moving journey of taste and emotion. Trust me; this is a discovery that will touch the deepest parts of your heart. Thank you, Left Bank Pastry, for infusing our lives with the sweetest tears of joy in every bite! 🌟😭👏🍰🥐🗼🍽️ you have our hearts.
PS: the cheese sticks and the Turkey croissants or even their regular buttery croissants are pretty amazing too.

Read morei had heard great things about this place and was very excited to try it out! my best friends and their mom came by today around noon and ordered an assortment or pastries and two quiches. we left a good tip and once we received our food we had noticed the quiches were not warmed up, i grabbed the two quiches and my best friends mom and i went to ask for two plates and for the quiches to be warmed up. we asked the girl at the coffee machine who had brown hair and bangs and said her name was hailey (?) for two plates and to have it heated up and she let us know they could not heat it up if we had to touched the food. but we had not known this , she told us that the person up front should have asked us if we wanted it warmed or not but they did not. hailey was very mean to my best friends mom and than we had asked for new pastries since the person up front forgot to ask us and essentially did not do their job and she said we would have to buy new pastries. we asked for the manager and she said she was the manager. another employee walked by and asked if i would like plates and i said yes please and asked if we could have it warmed. he was willing but the manager girl stopped him and told him "DONT, Josh please DONT". i work in customer service for a dealership and i have never ever seen customer service like this. to say i was disappointed and just sad to see us treated this way is an understatement. i do not believe hailey (?) is fit to be a a manger , she was so rude and not helpful. someone lacked to do their job and my best friends mom didn't even eat her quiche. i hope the owner sees this as we felt helpless even though we were kind and have never had problems with customer service. The pastries were great and it seemed like a great place so i would love to tell that to the owner but also let them know that the employees are lacking in basic customer service.
some of the worst customer service...
