Decided to check out this spot after a day at the Capital, and I could not have had a better experience! I was hungry and not expecting much, but the food and service at Herfy's really blew me away.

My friend and I ordered the California burger, mushroom burger, french fries, sweet potato fries, and the popcorn chicken (we were hungry LOL). I thought the california burger was delicious - the patty was thick, cooked well, and very juicy! I could tell they use fresh meat. I also loved how generous they were with the vegetables, pickles, and avocado 🥑 My friend said the mushroom burger was good as well, though she "complained" saying it was "too big". I think that just means we got our bang for our buck - we both only ate half of burgers and half the fries. Huge portions!

The french fries and sweet potato fries were also really good. They were super warm and crispy. The sweet potato fries especially were my favorite. I don't think either were salted, which I personally prefer. They were thicker fries, but not dry and were coated in just the right amount of batter.

We arrived a little bit after lunch and there were a few parties who ordered ahead of us. Despite that, all the food came out in only about 10-15 minutes. And while busy, the servers and girl at the front counter was super friendly. When the orders slowed down, the owner came out from the back to ask how I was enjoying my food. She was really sweet!

The interior was simple and clean. I can see this place getting busy during lunch and dinner rush, but there was plenty of table and counter spaces at 3 pm on a Monday. It's located in a complex with plenty of free parking, which is always a plus! This is a great happy medium between total fast food chains like McDonals and more expensive burger places - great quality for a fair price. I wish I lived closer to Olympia so I could try all their other burgers. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in...

**update 2021, they got rid of their poke, so we no longer eat here. I hope they bring it back sometime!

I wish their reviews (stars) restarted with the new management (I think around a year ago???), because this place is WAAAAY better than a 4.3 star burger joint. They use quality ingredients, are flexible and customer-central. If you want to try this place out, I'd do it! Sort the reviews by date of you want a more accurate portrayal.

I tend to eat a little healthier than my fiance, and this place accommodates both of our preferences! The poke bowl is A-MAZ-ING! Probably my favorite around (I love poke and try it all over Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater). They are super flexible with the base layer. I think I literally told them I wanted 25% rice and 75% greens as the base and they delivered on my request! I am getting married soon and watching my calories and I love the flavor this percentage gives. My fiance and I order here pretty often. He loves the bacon cheeseburger and the cowboy burger. The fries are super battered and delicious and the onion rings are pricey but well done. He has never had a dry burger here and said he wouldn't change a thing about them.

Some people have issues with the fact that it is pricey, but I feel like it is because the owners use quality ingredients that are probably more expensive. They also season the food less than other places (which I like, as I try not too eat too much salt), so if you know you like a well-seasoned burger, I'd try asking for it, or asking for salt and pepper on the side, though I'd recommend trying it without first.

We order through Uber Eats and they have always been flexible with our notes and delivered exactly what we ask for, which has not been our experience with many places around here. I basically recommend them...

Ya like Five Guys, but want to expand your horizons, or try something local? I tell you, tried and true, the only thing the Five guys might do better is milkshakes, simply because Five Guys puts bacon in there. However, i forgot to ask, so they honestly could. The burgers are fantastic, the shakes were great. You could actually taste the beef flavor in the bulgogi. Fries were exceptional, and by god the service was great. No hassle, confusion, very chill vibe and genuinely looked and sounded happy to be there, and loved to talk about their product.

For those people that are allergic to Peanuts and couldn't ever go into Five Guys because of it, once again, look no further. I will always warn caution, and to ask for yourself! With that i mind, i inquired, and was told that the only peanut product they use is Peanut Butter for shakes, and that specifically stays in its own designated area. No peanut or tree nut products see daily use in the kitchen, including fryer oil. Still very unsure on cross contamination outside thr store, so again, ask for yourself! These people deserve all of their business and...

Asked for extra pickles and got them! Great food, service and (peanut butter) shakes!

This was one of the best mushroom swiss burgers I’ve ever had in my life. Let me stress to you—there were big, fresh, perfectly cooked mushrooms on BOTH sides of the burger. AND two pieces of cheese. I’m so glad I didn’t get a double. This was a big burger. The fries were really good. I like all their sauce options and I like that they display them all for you to pick from. The burger was cooked nicely, not overcooked or anything. I’d love to try more, but I’m trying to watch what I eat, but you guys are up there on the list of cheat meals, don’t worry. The guy at the counter was really nice, told him it was our first time, so we took our time looking at the menu and he was patient. He was a bigger tall guy. I think he was a POC, I feel bad I didn’t get his name. If you know which employee that is, give him props for being a good employee. Overall, great experience. They weren’t busy, decent amount of seating, it’s not loud or greasy smelling in there. I just moved here and saw a few people shout you guys out on Reddit for one of the best burgers in the area.
