This location is usually very good. both the food and the service. I can't say that tonight. I'm currently dashing for doordash. I accepted an order to pick up here. It was just before 1 am. Pulled in, saw nobody in the drive thru, and pulled up. Was immediately instructed to come into the store to pick up, and was told that's the rule. Ok. Irritating for sure, but I did it. Go in, up to the counter to pick up the food. Sign for it. Mention that it doesn't make a lot of sense to have to come in if there is absolutely nobody in the drive thru and the order is sitting there waiting to be picked up.
That was all the permission that chick needed to start being outwardly horrible, rude and disrespectful with a raised voice and a smirk on her face like she thought it was funny. I could hardly even get a word in to defend myself. She's talking crap about me having an issue coming into the store WHILE I'M STANDING IN THE STORE. ALL I said was that it made no sense. I was able to tell her that I would be reporting her, which she replied with "GO AHEAD!", and that she has no right to be so rude to dashers. She just continued on. I have c-ptsd, and I'm so triggered right now that I can't even work at the moment. Seriously. I'm sitting in my car with severe anxiety, typing this rather than making money. I've been dashing for over 2 years and have never encountered anyone so mean.
I'm never returning to this store. The name of the game is customer service, and she's in the wrong line of work. She's currently wearing a headset, so I'm guessing running the drive thru, or the backup for it. One bad employee can ruin the experience for all.
Seriously, this kind of behavior...
Read moreI ate here today, 05/02/2017, and I have to say that I was not too impressed. I ordered a hard-shell beef taco, and on any other day but Tuesday, this taco costs $2.29+tax which makes it about $2.45. This taco is about the same size as a Taco Bell taco, but you do get about 10% more ingredients, including beef. The shell is very brittle and falls apart instantly, so it is very messy and difficult to eat. With Taco Bell, the shell retains some structural integrity to it as you eat it and it makes it more manageable to eat. Flavor wise, I would give it to Abelardos, barely, and also the ingredients are slightly higher quality. So, what it comes down to is that you get about the same amount of food, Abelardos has a slight edge on the amount of ingredients and quality, but you pay over a dollar more per taco. There is just no way to justify choosing Abelardos over Taco Bell. If Abe's had blown Taco Bell away with portions or taste, maybe I could be happy with it, but I would not spend my hard earned money here.
Here is a rating on a 1-10 scale: Taste 7.5/10, Portions 6/10, Value 4/10, Courtesy 7.5/10, Accuracy...
Read moreI recently visited and ordered two beef and cheese burritos. The employee at the drive-thru confirmed my order three times over the speaker, and I clearly stated “beef” each time. However, upon receiving my order, I noticed that I was charged for two “bean” and cheese burritos instead.
I checked the receipt and asked the employee to address the mistake. Instead of correcting the order, the employee insisted that I had said “bean” burritos three times. Despite my efforts to explain the situation, he refused to take back the incorrect items and replace them with the beef and cheese burritos I originally ordered.
This is not the first time I’ve had issues with incorrect orders here. Verifying the order at the window would help ensure accuracy and prevent frustration for customers. After multiple negative experiences, I’ve decided I will not be returning to this location. I hope you will address these issues to improve customer service and order accuracy moving forward.
That being said the...
