Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Ralston

It's dairy Queen so we got blizzards as usual and they were as expected and tasted so good. The real issue at this location was the customer service. Ordering was easy and getting through. The drive-thru was fairly quick, but the girl that was working the window probably wasn't the best choice for a customer service rep of dairy Queen. I understand that for all. Blizzards they always flip them over to show that they are cold, frozen thick and don't fall out of the cup. Is that The blizzards were melting pretty fast when we got to the window and it was easily noticeable that there was melted ice cream all around the top and all over the edges of the cup. So when they flipped it ice cream did spill all around the drive-thru window and they still proceeded to hand it to me with ice cream leaking down the sides. I understand that ice cream melts but at least if you make a mess at the window and all over the customers blizzard cups be courteous and wipe the cups off before handing with the customer and now the customer has ice cream over their hands and their car. I had to find napkins in my car and started cleaning each blizzard out of their handing to me and when I asked for napkins from the girl in the window she made an irritated sound before giving me two napkins which barely did anything to help. I know it's probably isn't always the experience for everyone, but this was my most recent experience there and that's what this ratings based on. I'm sure to drive this location again, but since there's two other locations and Ralston and Papillion I may go...

I will never go here again! My family and I have always loved this Dairy Queen since it was close and a smaller one. That was our go to place for treats and quick dinners. Tonight though....was the last straw for us. Recently when we have gone there we have been having some issues with food being undercooked, wrong orders and not so great customer service! Tonight 2 out of the 3 happened. My order was completely wrong and the worker taking my order through the drive thru had a terrible attitude! She acted like she didn't even want to take the order and when I pulled up I had another worker ask me if she had repeated my order correctly which she did not. So after close to 15 min of waiting for our hot food and our ice cream pretty melted since that's the 1st thing they give you, we drove off. Checked our order and it of course was missing food! I turn around to go back through the drive thru and tell them what items are missing and the same attitudy lady was there and as I'm telling her what happened she said "ugh let me talk to the cook!" And that was it.....didnt tell me sorry or anything just silence. I pull around and had to wait for another car in front of me to get done. Finally I get to the window and lady handed me the item and slammed the windows closed! I am done going there. I paid $50 for melted ice cream and wrong food! Tonight my spouse & I went in for a fast dinner & craving Dairy Queen. We got the $5 combo hamburger & chili dog, a drink for him & I ordered a small twist cone, which I was asked by the older woman at that time if I wanted it later. I said yes. She brought the hot items to the table & said I could bring the number up to get my cone when I was ready. The hamburger & chili dog buns were chewy & the everything was way too hot to eat because they were obviously microwaved. Yuk. Then she brought the cone right then, saying the other person apparently didn't hear I wanted it later & already made it. I said nicely that I had asked to have it later as it would melt otherwise. She took the cone with her. Honestly, that burger could gave been eaten in a very very few minutes normally but it was too hot initially to even handle. Yes, it was that hot. Never met a burger too hot to hold in my entire life until tonight. When I went to the counter to get my cone, I could tell from the way the ice cream kinda of draped over the edge of the cone it was the same one made previously, & it had an odd texture from having been stuck in the freezer to keep for me. Here's the issue: Soft serve deflates some when it sits. The texture changes after it is sitting out in the air, even if it's freezing air. Meh.
