The food is amazing and as far as I know pretty authentic. The Tortas was good and not something you see at every Mexican restaurant. Most of the meat options were pork, but I can assume that the steak is also good. It is worth mentioning that almost everything is in Spanish, but this adds to the charm. The employees which I talked to spoke English well and were able to help us figure out the menu (There was also a basic dictionary on the menu and a few items were also listed in English). The staff was friendly and I felt as if they genuinely cared about what they were doing and our satisfaction. If you are worried about not speaking Spanish and not able to read the full descriptions, don't be, simply choose any item on the menu and you should be fine. The sodas are all bottled, no fountain, but Mexican sodas are an option. The prices are pretty good, between 5 and 10 dollars depending on what you order, and the more expensive end has lots of food. The only real drawback to this restaurant is that they do not take checks or cards, but bring cash and you will have a great meal!

Service was polite and food was tasty. The highlight for me was the delicious tacos dorados options. Basically you pick the meat you want in the tacos and ask them to make them Dorados. They will take the regular tacos and fry them. I also tried the Birria (stew) res (beef) and chivo (goat). My personal favorite one was the beef one. It is a hearty and flavorful stew and doesn't come spicy. However, it comes with side sauces and chilis so you can make it to the spice level you are comfortable. Lastly the tortillas were amazing. I just wish the tacos came with some toppings. If you want to learn more about these dishes in English, check out Mark Weins vlog in Youtube for the episode of Birria in Mexico DF and Tacos dorados in LA.

Hands down the best birria in the area! Definitely ask for the beef/lamb combination birria, this is the house specialty. Authentic food, outstanding flavors. I also ordered a taco de tripa (I know, risky, right?) and they totally delivered a crunchy, yet very flavorful taco! I definitely recommend you experience this place.

I called this place to place an order and and the lady who answered the phone asked if I could be there in 20 minutes to pick up my food because she was going to close soon. So I was there before that time only to find out my order was never placed. There was a person cleaning inside that said the place was already closed and there were no orders that he knew of. So I'm giving this place 1 star for not showing integrity to the customers and dishonesty. Is this what you say to your customers whenever you want to close early? You wasted my time. This why I'm leaving this review so that you don't waste anyone else's time in the future. People do not waste your time with...
