I grew up in the South Omaha area but just visited this place for the first time this week. Stopped in at an odd time - (around 3:30) but the crowd and staff was great. It was calm, and easy-going around that time with friendly people around the bar. The place has plenty of Tv's, some pool tables, and dart boards. Ran into some old friends and enjoyed our visit. The liquor prices are very very cheap compared to other places near the downtown Omaha area. The bartender was telling me they had $1 Busch Light bottles one day of the week....

My problem is that Ralph has been there multiple times and no issues. The place was built on bulldogs. You’ll get business, just not from me or other dog lovers. Read more13th Street Brickhouse. Been in this bar many a night under many different names. It changed a little bit but the aura still stays the same. Brick house has a real warm spirited glow about itself no matter what people it attracts. It has always been a friendly environment. This is a great place to have a pool league or dart league sports event or even alive band. It'd be excellent if they brought the zebra Jam back...
