I stopped by to grab a Whopper with Cheese Sandwich for dinner. I placed my order in the Lobby. Just two workers were visible, one taking orders and one preparing food. I watched while the food preparer made sandwiches with his bare hands. Scooped lettuce, grabbed tomatoes, handled cheese. He left the food station a couple of times to load burgers into the fryer, all while using his bare hands. No hand washing. Both workers seemed confused about the orders being worked on. My order, a car in the drive through's order and another guy who was waiting for his dine in order. In fact, they had to unwrap my sandwich to see if it was the right one, then rewrapped it and still got it wrong. I ended up with someone else's double Whopper. The lobby was clean, in fact the front end worker tried to tell the eat in guy that he needed to take his sandwich and go because she was closing the lobby to finish mopping. He just told her to mop around him. Lol. The Douglas County Health Dept needs to visit this Burger King's kitchen and the owner needs to review health, safety and customer service with his or her staff. I wish this scenario was not typical of Burger King's in Omaha, but sadly it is. This chain needs some serious rehab or it will...

Why is this place still in business, just close, sell the building/land, & allow a worthwhile business to be built in this location. There's rarely ever anyone providing service at the BK after 6pm, someone is in there, but no one is working...the doors are always locked & no one answers at the drive-thru. This has to be a franchise owner that either has too much money that he/she doesn't even need to pay attention to any of his/her businesses or someone that has no clue how to own/operate a business.
BK in-general within the Omaha area are pure garbage, maybe BK is thriving in other cities, but I rarely see any cars within any of the Omaha locations lot/drive-thrus and no customers in their lobbies. If it wasn't for Popeye's being under your umbrella of companies, I would sell-off the stock...
Read moreThe chicken sandwich was amazing as usual. The guy at the drive thru was very funny. Got me to laugh several times. The best was when I got done ordering he said “head on down to whopper town I’ll have your total at the winder”. Very good personality. Only bad thing is that every time I go and try to order cheesy tots they are out. Also the drive Thur sign is broken still had all the breakfast stuff on it and glass was broken. So that needs to be fixed. Hard to know what they have if it’s not on the board, could have just happened though not sure. The outside of the building is a bit rundown looking maybe a paint job is needed. Overall it wasn’t bad though more cosmetic things to fix....
