Okey Dokey Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Omaha

We went here yesterday just for a quick snack and feel like dirty up the kitchen so I ordered a kids meal with eggs and sausage and toast. My kids, dad Donald ordered the kids pancake with bacon and eggs. We’ve been going here for years many years my son, my family would love to go here Until yesterday, this server who I later found out was the manager was awful. She didn’t check on us once there wasn’t a lot of people in there to keep her busy. She kept walking by never check to see how the food was never made sure we had water until the end when I had to tell her look I need different sausage one of these links is burnt and she got me some sausage and I said you never asked me if I or prefer patties or Links she said that we’ve never had patties and I said that’s not true, I ordered it just last week. I asked for over medium eggs the eggs were overcooked. I ordered another egg and it was worse than the first two. Apparently she only works every other Friday and I was doomed with her presents yesterday. She called Donald a liar. She said that he did not order the kids pancake meal and we had a huge argument about it and I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager. I was like oh my God that’s awful because you didn’t check on me once to see how our food was you didn’t check on us to see if we needed more water and I said I won’t be coming back here and she said good! I couldn’t believe it! 🤬😡 That was just the most awful experience I’ve ever had at that place! I had a reservation for approximately 20 people for 9:00 a.m. on a Thursday morning. I called a week in advance to reserve this and somebody wrote it all down. I promised I would call the morning of to verify the I promised I would call the morning of to verify the the head count but when I tried to call , nobody answered the phone. We all get there and they were not ready for us at all . They thought we were coming at 11:00 not 9:00 a.m., they tried to sit us at about five different tables which we rectified. They did not have enough Staffing to handle a group our size that early in the morning even though they were forewarned. The poor waitress trying to handle all our orders and trying to make the kitchen staff understand what the orders were was overwhelmed. The food was absolutely horrid! This is the first time our group has ever been out where nobody took anything home in a box. Personally I got the chicken and waffles and the chicken seemed like it was sliced deli chicken that have been breaded and fried because it wasn't even close to being chicken tenders. Heads up…this business took our money and wouldn’t give it back despite us not receiving our order. Do not use their online ordering system. They don’t keep the menu updated. We ordered online and were only told when we arrived to pick up the food that they don’t make what we ordered anymore. There was no on in the restaurant and they were just sitting around. Didn’t even call us to let us know about the situation. However, they had no problem taking our money and not providing a refund. The owner gave us a runaround twice when we tried to get our money back. We were told by someone working there that we’d have to call her vendor partner to get our money back instead of the restaurant refunding us. But that the owner would call us. She never did. So we called her. When we finally got ahold of the owner, she said they refunded us, but it was just in the form of store credit for us to eat there again…which we didn’t want.
