We love(d) going here because their hash brown burritos are great. But this morning I had the worst experience I've had anywhere! I ordered the same thing I've always ordered (see first sentence) and ordered two. They repeated two, but when I got to the window, they only gave me one. I explained that I asked for two, but he rudely told me I only ordered one. He charged me for the second, made it, and I went home. They weren't correct, they were carne asada, which I don't order and especially wouldn't at 8:30 in the morning. We drove back up there, went inside, and explained the situation. They insisted that I came through and ordered two carne asada (different than what he said when I was there the first time), until I pulled out both receipts. Then he changed his story to say that I ordered one, but changed my mind at the window. Now, I don't speak Spanish, but I'm fairly certain that they were insulting me because the English they spoke was indirectly calling me a liar. After making one of the correct item and both of us explaining that we wanted two, they refused to make the second one and refused to refund us for the one they wouldn't make (we were not taking the two incorrect ones.) We ended up leaving all three on the counter and walked out, yelling back to them (they both walked away, toward the back) that we would never go back to them. We will definitely be taking out business back...
Read moreI have been supporting D’Leon’s for 20+ years, going back to West O street in Lincoln. I have been to this location multiple times and I have always gotten the Bacon Burrito. I always tip the window guy when I receive my order, as I do most places. I ordered it again, and when I got home, it was not a bacon burrito but a chicken burrito. I went back and brought it back to the store and they said they don’t have the bacon burrito right now. And I said “so only in the morning?” And they said yes. They didn’t say sorry or nothing. I know for a fact I have ordered the bacon burrito at any time of the day and had no problem getting that. What I don’t get is why did they not tell me that they didn’t have the bacon when I ordered and just assume I wanted the chicken instead. So I had to wait until I got home to find out. I did not like some of the ingredients in the burrito and was really surprised. I thought they gave me the wrong order. Horrible experience. Won’t go here again. Just the rudeness and no money back or offer to make it right. The cook and window person just look at me in disgust talking in Spanish. So I drove off. Abelardo’s and Lina’s will be getting my business in the future. I have supported...
Read moreThey changed their point of sale system and started charging the customers the merchant fee of 3% instead of the business absorbing the fee. However, they don't disclose this to you, which they are suppose to inform you that you are charged the fee for using your debit or credit card. We asked the lady if they liked their new system (making small talk) she said "customers don't because of the fee." We said "what fee?" Then she said your charged the 3% from the merchant company, "sorry, forgot to tell you." We were a little surprised. Then 3 separate customers came to order and paid with their cards (while we waited for our order) and she didn't even tell them they were being charged and they all used cards. Some didn't ask for receipt. They are being sneaky about it, not letting people know because they don't think people pay attention. Probably going to lose a lot of business for this decision. We won't be back. Not a very honest thing to do. Shouldn't be penalized for using a debit/ credit card and/or should be brought to the customers attention so they can make the decision....
