Drove to the store over my work break. Went inside and ordered a Slim 1 and a Country Club. I get back to my office and open the Slim 1 and it has lettuce, tomato and mayo on, which I did not ask for. I called in to see if they could fix it for me and deliver the new sandwich since I didn't have any more time to leave. I explained the issue to the person that answered the phone and asked if they could deliver it, and before I had even finished he started saying he wasn't sure if he could because they had so many orders already. I asked to speak with a manager, and after explaining what happened he said it would be an hour before they could get me my sandwich. Also, before even confirming that, he was saying he wasn't sure if we were in the delivery area (which we were) and trying to give me excuses to not get me my sandwich. At this point, it seemed like they were irritated and if I were to get my sandwich I was worried something would be done to it, so I just ended the call and will take the loss.
It just felt like they didn't care to try and fix what was their fault, which is especially irritating since I took the time to drove to the store and go inside. They took no ownership of the mistake and acted like I was inconveniencing them when I asked for my fixed sandwich to be delivered. I was getting the drinks filled while they made the sandwich, which is why I didn't catch it in the store. Won't be going back to this Jimmy John's and frankly, any JJ's location after this anymore. Time to give my money to Subway, Firehouse Subs, Blimpies, Goodcents, and any other sandwich store in this town. What a...
Read moreI ordered delivery from Jimmy John's this evening at 8:25 at 9:15 I got the notice it was out for delivery , it's 10:09 I looked on the my tracker area in the app and it said it was delivered , it wasn't delivered to me ! I tried to call the store only to be greeted with a message saying they were closed so I will have to call in the morning to make sure I'm not charged for that meal. Update ...after speaking with the manager of the store this morning they let me know that my order was dropped off at the wrong address, very apologetically they let me know and we're happy to remedy the situation , and thank you to everyone at Jimmy John's on 108th and Maple in Omaha I've never had a problem with them before and I'm so thankful that they took care of me when there was an issue. I know situations happen but thank you again for taking care of it for me. the only thing I could suggest would be to add a link to the app where, if a situation happens close to closing time it can be taken care of that evening. Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience with the Jimmy John’s on 108th and Maple deserves some attention. I placed an online order and waited 55 minutes for it to be delivered 6 blocks away which is impressive, considering their whole brand is built around being “freaky fast.”
To top it off, the order was wrong. When I called to let them know, I spoke with Macee, who confidently informed me that it wasn’t their mistake and there was “nothing they could do.” After some back and forth, she offered me a $5 credit… which, as most people know, doesn’t even cover a sandwich these days.
Macee was dismissive, rude, and made it very clear that customer satisfaction was not on her list of priorities.
If you’re in the mood to wait nearly an hour for the wrong food and be treated like an inconvenience, then by all means give this location a try. Otherwise, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. Omaha has plenty of sandwich shops that actually value...
