This was the last time that I will be visiting this location. We walked in and one guy was ordering for him and his kids in front of us (we were a party of four). Employee #1 was making a couple of sandwiches and employee #2 started to assist but asked the guy the same three questions that employee #1 asked, but he had to ask multiple times. Employee #2 proceeded to ask my son what he wanted and while he had a hard time effectively listening due to an air pod playing in his ear, employee #1 dropped all of the sandwiches for the order in front of us in the oven. Employee #2 stopped with our order and went to take care of this other guy while employee #1 went to the back not to be seen for about 10 minutes.
Employee #2 came back to us and had to again ask what my son wanted. My son wanted his sandwich toasted and proceeded to get the sandwich toasted. Employee #2 continued to ask what my daughter wanted and then my wife. My wife had a question about something on the menu and she had to ask the question FOUR times before she got her answer.....still with an air pod playing in his year (he was lipping the words of the music as he was making sandwiches). She also wanted her sandwich toasted so while not paying attention, he proceeded to toast her sandwich with my son's sandwich (for a second time), which made his bread over cooked and rock hard.
Employee #3 spent a lot of time on the Goodrich side making shakes and conversing with an off-duty employee (assumed employee as he went walking to the office with Employee #3). Employee #3 failed to offer assistance for the Subway line that had continued to be steady, yet wondered if going someplace was going to be worth it with half the day over.
Additionally, there was restroom cleaner in the dining room on top of a trash can unsupervised by the store employees. My previous management team would have my head on a platter for having a sanitized towel for wiping tables in a place for customers to touch, I'm afraid what she would do if I left restroom cleaner out.
Finally, there did not appear to be much control over any loitering while there. Some guy was there with Mellow Yellow in a water cup and then he grabbed a bag of chips without paying (he was there before us, went outside a couple of times, went back in, grabbed the chips and started to eat them).
Employee #1 did eventually come back out to assist with our sandwiches.....not really friendly.
Employees #2 and 3 both had SHIFT LEAD on their caps. Based on this visit, there was no leadership and they were just trying to push through the line so that they can get along...
Read more11/12:2023. I ordered a Philly, 6 inch on Italian bread. A simple and straightforward order! No extra instructions. I was asked if I wanted green pepper? I answered of course. I was asked if I wanted mayo. I answered if that is something which is usual for this sandwich then yes, make it the Subway way. She asked me again about the mayo and I again gave her the same answer. When at home I took the sandwich out of the bag and I noticed it weighed almost nothing. The onion and green pepper was not chopped and was a very small amount and the usual small amount of meet with ALOT of mayo. The sandwich was the worst sandwich I have ever bought from anywhere. Went back the next day without the sandwich (which I threw in the trash) and it was explained to me she/they could not make it right if i don’t return the sandwich. I expressed I don’t believe that is true and it is. It posted and insisted they make it right on the sandwich or the money and was refused. This got so bad a customer offered to pay for another sandwich which I turned down because that wasn’t the point and didn’t fix the problem of the horrible sandwich I paid for. The joke was he and the employees said they were REMAKING a sandwich for him. I asked if he brought in his sandwich and I got both yes and no answers from 2 people who work there and the customer. This was an obvious lie, no truth to it. But, if there was any truth to the other customer’s story…then that means 2 sandwiches from yesterday were made and not good enough to eat. I used to work fast food when in high school and made a lot less money (in comparison) than this job pays for today. I could tell she didn’t want to make the sandwich and didn’t want to be there making sandwiches. I will NEVER again go this Subway. Talking to friends and family about this learned they have had issues with Subway too. My advice step it up or close your doors and for the people working there…earn your paycheck! Good thing is this didn’t ruin my day...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would happily give a negative 5. First, the Google information says store is open until 11 PM. This is a blatant falsehood. I attempted to use the app to take advantage of a specific promo at around 10:10 PM Saturday night (today). After about 10 minutes of error message on a non responsive app/website, I went into the store at 10:25 PM. I was told rudely by the worker that the promotion could only be made through the app and that if I was still going to order I needed to so it fast, as she was going to lock the door. I ordered. My sandwich was poorly made, with only a fraction of what it should have had. It was basically flung at me and at 10:30, I was out the door and the lights were off. Your store is not open until 11:00 PM. This sandwich was not worth $15.00 for the 2 oz. of meat and smattering of vegetables placed on dry bread that was barely heated; this is a toasted sandwich. If your employee is that miserable in that shift, then why chose it? I had asked for my second sub to be a meatball sub but she said she didn't have any meatballs, that tone in her voice said it was just going to be nothing but problems. I am very seriously considering filing a complaint with the state attorney general for the general poor quality of...
