Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Omaha

I would have given a ZERO stars for service. The guy who took our order was beyond rude. As my husband was putting in our order, I noticed a sign that said "Make your order a combo for free" I was pointing that out to my husband as he was ordering. My husband had to repeat the order twice on one sandwich and three times on one of the others. We ordered three in total as we had our grandson with us. As soon as the order was supposed to be straight, my husband asked about the combo offer and the guy snipped at my husband with a very condecending "Uuuuuuun fortunately, you should have asked that before you ordered." Well, we would have if we weren't so busy getting the order straight. But wait, there's more... When the order came and we checked our receipt, we had ordered two little John's but were charged for one little John and two regular sandwiches. It should have been two little John's and one regular. He charged us backwards. And when we opened our sandwiches, my grandson had ordered a very simple ham and provolone. He received salami, prosciutto and provolone, but no ham. I requested mayo, received no mayo. The cherry on top was, the bread was not fresh and that's the main reason we typically go there. Came here for sandwiches, just sandwiches to feed six people, three adults, three boys under eight years old. We all got the sixteen inch sandwiches. Three Gargantuans and like two turkey and cheese and ham and cheese. No chips no drinks and 6 cookies. $145.98 later I couldn't believe was the total. What is wrong with this country when we can charge that kind of money for freaking sandwiches? I love Jimmy John's because it's a decent sandwich, but I will no longer be coming here due to the price gouging this restaurant and others are doing to the public. Employees were great, service was great, sandwiches were great, atmosphere and cleanliness was great, but not the price. I could have went to a sit down restaurant and fed us all for cheaper or just a bit more and had cocktails, appetizers, and been served for cheaper than what this costs for SANDWICHES!!! I don't normally leave had reviews, but if these restaurants want to price gouge customers, they deserve bad reviews because it's not just Jimmy John's that's doing it. They have screwed up my order FIVE times in a row now. The woman working the drive-thru is rude, argumentative, and doesn’t know the menu. Each time I order a SLIM 6, she calls it a veggie. That is incorrect. The #6 is a veggie, but slims are entirely different. A slim 6 is literally just cheese and bread. Could not be more simple. I have pointed this out to her each time, but each time she argues back with me and calls it a Veggie. All she has to do is look at the menu to know she is in the wrong. I hate that a sandwich gets wasted every time I go there, because she can’t place my order correctly. The man who fixed my order inside the store was apologetic and kind.
