Ceviche Tostada is normally quite good. I ordered for delivery on Monday the 3rd at 2 or 3 pm. The chef that made it was AMAZING! I forced myself not to eat all of it, why you might ask? I wanted to try it the next day to see if the reason it was better was freshness. It was even better, I did add more lime and the packet of Mexican hot sauce. The Chef who made that is good. It had more veggies and liquid than the last 3 years. Yet they were diced so small that after I ate the shrimp I even ate the very last bite of onion. My brother's wife taught English in Mexico and that is where I found to love it. The shrimp "loins"??? that are used were fresh. I never order seafood on a date, I am a picky eater when it comes to seafood. Please make it like this in the future. As for the barabcola it was not like other times. I did get big slices of hass avocado! I cook BBQ myself and it is more of an art and what the meat is. I will say the chef gave me double or tripple meat than normal. I think he understood it was not up to his quality? This just made me want to give a positive review even more! Guacamole 🥑 was not filled with fillers and was bright and fresh. It was the first thing I ate. P.S. I only ordered 2 appetisers and 3/4 of a lime were included for free! Limes are not cheap, nor are the hot sauce packet plus the 3 homemade salsa! Chips too! This is my reasons for giving a review. Try this if you can not escape the winter and wish you were on a beach in Mexico. I also order the steak and it comes with cactus, it is my favorite and it comes like in Mexico with the sides(just like in Korea, kinda?). I do wish they had an option to add double veggies as I don't like rice. I asked once and they gave it for free but I...

Excellent authentic Mexican food. The carne asada tacos with handmade flour tortillas were amazing. They are served with cilantro and onions on top as well as sliced radish and limes on the side. The sopes with pork were also very good. They were a good size and two was filling. We also tried a chicken enchilada with green salsa. While it was good, it wasn't nearly as good as the tacos or sopes. My three year old loved her dinosaur chicken nuggets. They were fried and actually not too bad. When you first sit down, they bring out a sampler of five different salsas with chips. They tasted fresh and each one was very good ranging from mild to hot. Do yourself a favor and skip the margarita. There was too much mix and very little tequila. The first one was ok enough to order another, but the second was hard to get down because the mix flavor was so overpowering and it was terrible. Our waitress was great and all in all it was a...

Okay so I want to leave a review because I have been here so many times in the past few years but forgot to. Door dashed this today and it's time I do one. First of all, the way even though we bought it through door dash. They still sent us all the salsas and chips. Way to go on that. Second of all , we ordered the Gorditas. We ordered chorizo, Barbacoa, Al pastor , Nopales and asada. Each meat was done perfect and so flavorful but my all time favorite and the one I will go with every single time I visit , is the Barbacoa. The way the meat absorbed all the juices was truly an experience I was not expecting one bit. Mix that with there fresh garden salsa and the orange one for a kick and some sour cream, wooooooo weeeeeee. It was on another level. I would recommend this to anyone anytime and we will be back many times over. You all did amazing and keep the traditional flavor of Mexican food alive in Omaha. Wish I could...

Enjoying the flavor and authentic mexican food here was an absolute pleasure, and I can confidently say it’s some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The authenticity and freshness of every dish were outstanding, with flavors that truly stood out. I ordered the Mexican-style steak plate, and it was nothing short of incredible. The steak was cooked perfectly, and complemented beautifully by the sides. The selection of sauces served was a perfect balance of savory and spicy, enhancing the dish without overpowering it. Beyond the food, the service and price was great. The staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring an all-around fantastic dining experience. If you’re in Omaha and craving authentic Mexican cuisine, El Rancho is an absolute must-visit!

I will say this I passed this place multiple times! But I'm happy I stopped by! The food was delicious! Service was excellent and super polite, but I had to practice my Spanish! Which was definitely a challenge for me! But it was a good practice for me! The food was delicious and it came out quickly even with it being lunch hour! My favorite of the salsas was the orange one! Spicy and full of flavor! I will definitely have to come back and try other things!
