After standing inline for 12 minutes i placed my 2yrs order, whose outside in the car with his dad screaming because he wants his kids meal because hes hungry, tovfind out that i left my card out in the vehicle. So i let her know that i just got to run right outside the door and grab my card that i had forgot. Once i got back in the cashier had to ring back up my order which was no big deal. I was going to use my US Direct Express card here, but it kept saying transaction unauthorized every time so they wouldnt except my card. Which mind you there was $60 in the account. I found all the cash that i had in my pockets, coat and wallet and they rang my sons kids meal up and the total came up to $4.95 and I only had $4.65. So i tell her that all I have is $4.65 and she said so then you dont want this kids now. I couldnt believe she said that to me. After knowing bout my son outiade hungry and screaming and seen that there was $60 in the account. I said yes I still want the kids meal. I have a hungry screaming 2 year old outside screaming at the top of his lungs for it. I said that I had to go back outside to the car to find the rest of the change where my husband & our screaming 2 year because he was hungry and wanted his food and i had to go out to the vehicle with nothing to give him. Which made him scream even louder. Found rest of change and went back in to 5 to wait for over 5 minutes for the cashier to come and ring me up knowing that i wasat the register and ready to order. After i finally got to order i went on to the app tonplace an order and my card the same card I was just trying to use here was accepted for payment. I then had to wait over 40 minutes for my sons kids meal. By the time I got his kids meal I was still waiting for the large fry and large drink I ordered on their app. After bout 10 minutes I asked how much longer order 1614 was going to be to the cashier. She responded withI dont know im the a cashier. Then she looked at her register I didnt see that order or that number on it so i showed her the order on my phone and she said oh its a mobile order well i dont know what order they go in over there. Im just a cashier and walked to the back of the kitchen. Im extremely unhappy with this storeby this point. I finally see another worker who happens to be the drive-thru's chashier and asked her the same question. She rolled her eyes at the question but did ask how long it was gonna be on order 1614. I heard them tell her that they didnt know just yet n seen them kinda look at the screen of orders. I couldnt help it but i spoke up to where they could here me and they responded with oh well we can get that right now. By the time i finally get back to the called my son was still screaming i had beeen there trying to get just a kids meal on one order and a large fry on the app order for over a hour and their was only 3 people in front of me with small orders as well. If you are wanting FAST FOOD dont go here, here its SLOW FOOD you get here and some...
Read moreI can't remember the last time I left a critical review, but I would be negligent to my community for not sharing this encounter. Date and time was 7/2/2019 between 4 and 5 pm. It was the early dinner rush, so giving them some benefit of the doubt.
I ordered a McDouble (no modifications) with fries through the drive-through; basically a "Number 2", a pretty easy order, I would imagine. I was politely asked to pull in to the drive-through reserved parking and wait. After pulling into the spot, I sat for ten minutes and no one came out to fulfill the order. I saw multiple people inside placing orders and retrieving their order from the front counter. I walked in and gave the manager a couple of options: either provide the food or refund my order. The manager apologized and gave me a refund. I left, thereafter.
Now, I'm not sure what was going on, and I would have been glad to wait longer, but being on my way to an evening shift, I was cutting it pretty close and pressed for time. One significant reason I chose this McDonald's was because it was just off the highway en route to work, and fast food tends to be, well, fast. I cannot think of another McDonald's where I have experienced a similar experience; this was definitely an outlier.
To be clear, the staff was nice, the place was clean, and so forth. My order probably just got lost somewhere in the bustle. I'm not sure if I'll return. Probably not due to the ample nearby options such as Burger King and Sonic. But if I do return to this location, then I'll likely order from the inside rather than the drive-through.
I am willing to give this site a second chance if the opportunity presents itself, but I would probably not recommend it to friends or family based on this exchange. Thanks for reading, and good...
Read moreRipped off: 6/18/24, I placed an order at their kiosk, using my cellphone to 'scan code' for points/discounts. The transaction initially appeared to go through, but there was no receipt printed at the kiosk and the order number (which I thankfully remembered) did not appear on their telescreen queue. There was nobody to ask about this. I waited about 15-20 min of waiting for the order number to appear, during which time, I also looked in the McDonald's app, as well as my e-mail and could find no transaction number/receipt. I finally was able to speak to an employee, who muttered something, went into the back, and then didn't return. After waiting another 8 minutes or so, I concluded that there had been no order generated and left with nothing but a waste of about 30 minutes.
The following day, my bank account was debited $25.57 and I have not been able to receive a refund as they would like a receipt (which I never got!) or should have talked with a manager that morning (none was visibly present at the counter). After almost a month of asking, the most recent communication was to offer me a coupon for ice cream...! I don't live near there and don't want a coupon. I was simply in the area dropping off a family member at the airport. Now, I am filing a claim with the better business bureau for the first time in my life. (I have been ripped off before, but never so blatantly by a well-known corporation.)
Do yourself a favor. Don’t...
