Had to wait quite a while for the waitress to leave the table where there were a couple of younger gals about her age ro get waited on. Had the Steak special on Tuesday night. Online price $10.99 in bar price $13.99. Old bait and switch illegal tactic. Told the waitress I didn't need a menu that I knew what I wanted. She walked off and continued to talk with couple of younger girls about her age. She brought my salad at the same time as my meal and said she was too busy to notice it up in the window. There was 6 tables her and a waiter. Not all that busy! She didn't like that I wanted to be able to eat my salad before my meal. When she brought the ticket not only was the price 30% higher than the price online. She also charged me for beer's. I never had any beer. Food was decent, steak was barely warm! Excellent. Our server (Rachel) was very attentive, efficient, friendly and pleasant. My dining companion ordered a well done mushroom burger and loved it. I ordered their vegetarian mushroom Portobello mushroom sandwich which was outstanding. Crispy, fat, juicy mushrooms smothered in Swiss cheese on a gently toasted soft bun. With waffle fries! Best waffle fries in town! You really can't go wrong at Phoenix with all their food choices. Their salads, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, fish and chips, etc. are all great. Atmosphere was nice on a Thursday night. Music wasn't too loud, quick service, polite staff and $4 margaritas.
