Adding another update from dinner with my dad and brother last week (8/14/25) where Omaha Kebabs offered a new dish, that I hope finds a permanent spot on the menu. The spicy Italian Sausage kebab (I got it with rice and salad, but it is also offered as a wrap sandwich in a pita with fries) was delicious with a respectable amount of heat. Hope I get to try it again!
Updating my review to include many visits since my first including last night (1/22/25). I have pretty much tried everything on the menu and love everything I've tried, with special shout-outs to the pork belly kebabs, ground beef kebabs, lamb chops (among the best I've had period), and falafel. This place has become part of my family's favorites and we go regularly.
Tried dinner there with my parents on 12/18/21 and loved it! My parents had the pork belly kebabs and I tried the lamb chops, both of which were delicious. The lamb chops were very flavorfully seasoned and cooked well (medium done per my request). The owner very kindly gave us a few extras (a special type baba ghanoush with tomato) because he mistakenly prepared two pork belly kebabs instead of one pork belly and one pork loin that we originally ordered. Was not necessary because we enjoyed the "extra" pork belly at the slightly lower pork loin price, but greatly appreciated the gesture. Looking forward to going back again, although I hope the restaurant considers adding a baklava to its...
Read moreWe heard so many great things about Omaha Kebabs so we had to try it and oh my was it amazing! Right when you walk in you feel welcome and at home. The decor and atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The staff are welcoming, greeted us right as we walked in, they are attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. Our server Jill was amazing and explained the menu since we’ve never been, and had great suggestions on what to order. She suggested the appetizer platter and wow! All the different dips with their fresh baked pita bread was like a taste explosion in your mouth! So good! I had the chicken kebabs and rice and Greek salad. I love Greek salad and this was the best I’ve ever had! The dressing was something out of this world! The lettuce was crisp and the pickled red onions were so flavorful. The chicken was so tender and cooked perfectly I could cut it with my fork! And pairing it with the rice was perfection! My husband had the gyro and the tzatziki sauce on it was out of this world good! Everything they make is fresh and made from scratch. I wish we had room for the baklava but we were so full! Next time for sure! Thank you Jill for all your suggestions and for making our dinner a wonderful experience. This is a restaurant where soon after you leave you can’t wait to go back! Go check it out!! It’s our new...
Read moreFINALLY. I’ve been searching for a place that doesn’t just serve food, but serves an experience. Omaha Kebabs does exactly that. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff is incredibly fun and accommodating. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, you will be treated like royalty. It’s completely obvious that the owner, Arthur, truly LOVES to create delicious plates and go above and beyond for each and every guest to make sure they’re enjoying their food and themselves. Everything is fresh and the portions are beyond generous. I’ve officially been in three times this week and have tried every one of the kebabs! The lamb chops, beef loin, pork belly, and ground beef are my top 4 favorite kebabs, and I always upgrade my dinner plate the “Chef’s Way”. It’s an extra $5 and completely worth it. Instead of the normal rice, salad, and onions that come with the entree, it comes with rice, pita, a zucchini kebab, and fire roasted tomatoes!!! SO delicious. I’ve also had his dolmas (ground beef and rice wrapped in grape leaves, served warm with tomato sauce on top) and I wish I could eat them every day!!! If you haven’t been in yet, it’s time to make the trip. You will be so happy you did, and you’ll probably come back the next day too. Make sure you get...
