Story time!!!!! I was attempting to go to my usual jade garden however they were not open when I arrived so I wanted to try something different On arrival the reception, atmosphere, and support i received as I personally am not fully experienced in Indian food culture. I was given a description of any item I asked of my choices lead me to go with what was popular with Ms inbu was my hostess and helped me navigate towards me having a spice tolerance of going with for my drink the mango lassi it’s like a smoothie healthy refreshing drink My appetizer was Chicken Manchurian which could of been a main course item the amount of portions given is perfect from the appetizer to main course meal the flavor was amazing and I didn’t need any flavor of spice to it it gave a A lot of hype to what I ordered as my main item next The main was butter chicken with a level 2 spice as I can not handle spicy foods at my age lol With a order of garlic naan this is the perfect combo in my opinion Ms inbu was Instrumental in making me feel welcomed cared for due to my spice level tolerance and even from the chef who brought my food out personally expressed how happy he was for me to be officially trying real Indian culture food 10 out of 10 if possible

First and last time coming to eat at this restaurant. Traveling from Kansas City. Food was mediocre at best. Ordered the spring rolls and can already tell these are pre made store bought spring rolls from the looks and first bite. Now a day a lot of people are going the easy route in this restaurant industry which is so sad, if I wanted frozen spring rolls I could have gotten them at a local Indian store myself. For main course: methi chicken, mattar paneer, onion kulcha roti and naan. Those were good, yet very very small in size/portion and no butter on them. Water was definitely tap could tell by the taste. Decor was mediocre. No liquor. Bathroom had pee all over the bottom and top of the toilet…. Squatted to pee :/ . This restaurant is a SOUTH Indian restaurant you can tell by the flavors and spices. If you’re looking for Punjabi style or North Indian style food this is probably not your best pick unfortunately. This is our honest feedback as Indian/punjabi chefs with 20 years of experience! :) Changing to 1 star because the staff or owners have decided to take an honest review to heart and leave a 1 star on my personal business. Very unprofessional, do better.

Firstly, let me start by saying that my experience at Persis Indian Grill was simply outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and excellent customer service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Now let's talk about the food. The menu offers a wide variety of Indian dishes that are sure to please any palate. I tried the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was one of the best I have ever tasted. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the portion sizes were generous. What I appreciated most about Persis Indian Grill was the attention to detail in their dishes. Each plate was beautifully presented, and it was clear that the chefs take great pride in their work. The restaurant itself is also well-decorated and creates a cozy atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend Persis Indian Grill to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Omaha. The service, food, and ambiance are all top-notch and it's an experience not to be missed. Updated review we ordered Togo it’s so good, the weekend special omelet birthday is awesome.

This small family owned shop has some of the best Indian flavors that I have ever experienced in Omaha! The menu is extensive, especially for a vegetarian who is accustomed to slim pickings. The vibe is friendly and low key, you don’t need to get dressed up here, come as you are.

The service was super sweet and attentive throughout our visit. She provided us with included samples of this delicious mango pudding dessert that BLEW my mind - truly. So sweet, creamy, and bright!

For my meal, I gave the malai kafta a try, which is one of my go - to choices at Indian restaurants, so I have a strong basis to judge.. and Percy’s knocked it out of the park! The veggie balls were soft and smooth when cut open, but firm enough to not fall apart in the sauce. The flavors present were so incredibly warm and rich that I could have simply eaten it like soup! I personally ordered a 4 in spice on their 10 scale, and could have handled a 5 in terms of spice, but staying at a 4 keeps your nose from running! The naan options are super fun, and you can select from plain, cheesy, garlic, and more! I personally went with the cheese naan and it was so full that it was almost like a quesadilla ! That is super rare in my experiences, and I was pleasantly surprised by the heftiness of this naan. Each order is 4 pieces for only a few bucks.

My companion ordered an appetizer as a meal, and said they also could have gone spicier - so the lesson here may be to trust your spice tolerance and go just one more notch above what you think you can handle! The creaminess and balance of spices allows everything to melt together rather than be overpowered by one element.

I’ll definitely be returning to Percys and hope you give it a try! I’ll need to order a full order of the mango dessert...
