Taco John's — Restaurant in Omaha

Went to Taco John's on 54th and L. We put in an online pickup order and when finished, it said our order would be ready at 8:04pm. We arrived at 8:15pm and when my wife and I went in to get the order. The woman at the counter was very rude and asked her if we had checked in. We told her we had a pickup order we completed online and said it was ready. Well, it wasn't, so not only did we wait an additional 20 mins for our order, the staff was speaking very rudely in Spanish about all the customers. Also drive thru customers were having thier orders filled before ours. The manager was very rude and his sanitation habits were disgusting. Did not wear gloves and put his hands in the middle of a batch of chicken tenders after handling trash. There was only 3 crew members working on a Friday night. Our food was made sloppy and not hot at all. Do everyone a favor, if you can't have enough staff to fill orders on time and all your employees are rude....CLOSE THE LOCATION!! Don't believe the 5 star reviews, they're fake and/or deceptive, written by employees or friends and family to keep their rating up....

Edit The owner contacted us and apologized for the food, hair and employee. We appreciate the attention to customers the owner has shown and he has assured us he is looking into this branch. This is what makes a business good and why I'm changing my one star to a 3 star. *

We came in and it was empty and slightly dirty. We ordered a six pack and a pound, a couple of bean burritos and a kids meal. A couple of parties came in after us and a few drives in came in. As we waited for an extremely long time we watched as everyone else was served before us. Mind you were ordered first. Our food was cold, the burritos had beef smashed onto them lettuce in them and no sauce in them, the potato oles were soggy and undercooked and I kid you not as I write this review my daughter took a bite of her chicken and found a long blonde hair and none of us are blonde... They also seemed to get offended that I checked our food before we left.... Definitely not coming back to this nasty understaffed...

Ordered delivery through their website. The door dash deliverer dropped off our meal with the CORRECT name on it. Our order was missing 6 soft shell tacos, nachos, a kids meal of chicken tenders, and donut bites. And we randomly got a taco salad. When I called Taco Johns, the manager told me he would make all our items fresh if we picked it up. On arrival, the cashier said, “oh, yeah there was a mixup with two door dash deliveries. He gave us two different names.” Our door dasher was FEMALE. The manager said that he called his boss and we would have to request a refund from door dash and then put in another order to get our food.

Seriously, own up to the mistake. Don’t pass the blame on the dasher. Our receipt was attached to the bag that obviously wasn’t prepared correctly or verified. And ask for a refund from door dash??? I just want the food that Taco Johns charged us...
