Valentino's To-Go — Restaurant in Omaha

This place is a joke!!! We called and placed a carry-out order for a 16-piece broasted chicken @7:30 pm today, 08/07/2021, Rus took our order. He said it will be ready by 8:20pm. We got there at 8:30ish. Anne came out, she said the chicken was messed up, so they placed another batch of chicken and it will be ready in 10 minutes. She refunded our money but promised that she will bring out the chicken to us anyway. We just have to wait. Since there is a severe storm, and most of the restaurants are closing, we agreed to wait. We can see their staff just standing around and looking at us from the inside! 20 minutes later, my patner went inside to check on the ckicken only to be told that they are having dificulties with their broaster machine and they cannot cook the chicken!!! What a joke!!! The incompetence is to the highest level! We've heard several bad comments about this place but we thought of giving this a chance, we greatly regret it! This place should close down! I don't want to give them a single star, but this app won't let me post this comment...

The lady working the register after I ordered handed me the receipt to sign and I went to get a drink then turned around she was waiting for me to sign and then immediately check the tip. I didn’t tip because I mean the idea of tipping for handing me a slice of pizza in a 30 second interaction is pretty insane to me, when she saw I didn’t tip she audibly says oh and then stops even fulfilling my order. I ordered an express lunch and she only put in a slice of pizza and ignored breadstick lol. And she just walked away after this ignoring me being rude, which this isn’t the first time this has happened which is why I’d never tip her anyway. The food was not even fresh either, a blonde lady did come up and give me the breadstick I ordered with my food. That heavier set lady is really lacking customer service skills, I’d rather go to the center street location where they don’t pander for tips on receipts. I am not tipping an hourly worker unless I was placing an order for like 10+ pizzas or for delivery...

Pretty sure manager is a moron. People leaving their lights on and front door was unlocked after closing time a parent lyrics they close at 8pm but it's 8:30 and had no idea since lights were on and doors unlocked... so since no one is worried about safety and inconveniencing civilians they leave everything looking like they are open, even after hours. I was told that he hash never been told by workers they feel threatened so it's okay to leave front doors unlocked. Odd part is no one knew I was there no one saw me. Pretty sure that's scary enough not knowing if some person shows up roaming around... no one restraunt I know of or worked at has ever left their doors unlocked after hours you can't trust that your safe if your busy in the back you don't hear what's going on. Try being a bit less stupid and putting your staff...
