Wayne's New Skoo BBQ — Restaurant in Omaha

The beef brisket and pork was very tasty. I would have like to try a side but in my rush to read the single menu taped to the table I missed out. The chef did not make any suggested adds and seemed hesitant on explaining the menu. I was surpised/disappointed that they did not have their own bbq sauce. The portions were on the small side for the price. It is a small shop but half a dozen folded copies in a holder for customers to study while not at the counter would be convenient, or possibly a large wall menu or chalk board. There is four or six 4 seat tables inside and a couple of picnic benches outside. They have a drive through which may be their majority of customers. Wayne's brisket is perfect! Tender and still has a perfect texture. Juicy not greasy Not too smoky. I'd say it's the best brisket we've EVER had with or without the sauce which was a beautiful creation! Fried cabbage and bacon paired amazing with my sandwich! Potato salad? I don't even like potato salad.. I do now! Baked beans? Yes please! Purchased 2 desserts along with our meals. Lady T's... A strawberry cake and a banana bread pudding I believe. Last week was the first time i had Wayne's BBQ it was good. Expensive for four bones and small sides but good. I go back today and pay $17 and some change because i ordered an extra side. Like i sa8d expensive but somewhat good. I get home, open container and was highly disappointed. The ribs were not as big as the last time. In other words it looked like they went out of their way to give me thee worst ribs they could find. Small, kinda dried out just terrible. Sorry but once a restaurant burns me with terrible food/service i am done with them. Ashame though because the good be good. Oh well ill just have to find another bbq place to go too and recommend to all of my family...
