Big Al's Too Pizza — Restaurant in Onalaska

This place is a well-kept secret! We got a gift card last Christmas and until then, I'd only driven by it. But today was probably the tenth time I've picked up pizzas to go, and they're the best around.

I work in Foodservice, and I appreciate the extra-effort these guys put into their product. I've probably picked up or received delivery for well over a thousand pizzas, and the number one complaint with a lot of places is that the pizza isn't hot. Not with these guys - the first time I got home and opened a pizza box from Big Al's Too, I was blown away - they put their pizzas on a cardboard circle and also wrap their pizzas in foil. You know why everyone doesn't do this? Because it's EXPENSIVE, that's why. I use aluminum foil at work every single day and I can tell you that the price has almost doubled in the last few years. But you know what's also doubled? The temperature when you stick your hand in the box when you rip off the foil - look out, that pizza is smoking hot. But it makes a huge difference. I got pulled over a few months ago for speeding on the way home, and it took the guys a little bit to run my license and registration, but the pizza was still steaming hot when I got home and everyone was happy.

I was excited to eat here as I've always heard great things....and was sorely let down. Spend $70 dollars here and wish I never did. Chicken tenders were overcooked and hard, and fries tasted like cardboard. Pizza and wings were okay. Got a wrap that was 95% lettuce. I can say I feel for the worker, as he was doing it alone and got it out in a timely manner. But I would have waited an hour if it meant better food. I don't plan on going back. I don't like writing bad reviews, but I spend $70 on food that I'm not going to...

I usually never give a good review but hear it is all I can say is the pizza I order was by far the best pizza I ever ordered... Hands down.. and was really hot I had to let it cool down but that's far from a complaint .. if I didn't know any better I would have thought it came right out the oven on delivery. Look out every pizza delivery company... This is BIG...
