Huddle House — Restaurant in Oneonta

I'm just extremely disappointed in everything me my wife and toddler son waited in the middle of the floor for 5 minutes and seemed to be purposefully avoided there were only 2 empty tables so we picked the cleanest one and as we walked to it we were blocked by someone who decided to clean it we finally get seated and In the sum of 6 minutes of sitting there getting our table and child arranged was asked 5 times if we were ready and we never even opened a menu so after an order of water (which tasted like it was from an old hose) and a Pepsi we were then IGNORED for the next 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our order after finally getting someone's attention we ordered a phily cheese steak and a chicken finger dinner plate with fries and mashed potatoes (with no gravy after the waitress specifically asked) and a bisket 20 minutes later we get the saddest plates of food I have ever seen and granted they were close to 9$ EACH I received a hand full of burnt fries an what seemed to be meat flavored toast as there was barely anything in there and it tatsed almost entirely of salt and my wife received what I could only assume was fried feathers and they forgot the other HALF of her order then after trying to get upsold on a 3.99 6 cheese stick speacial to a 9$ 12 cheese stick normal order they basically insulted our parenting by saying " I wouldn't use a booster seat for him get a high chair" we promptly spent 24 dollars on disgusting food with terrible portions and prices, were insulted and ignored and was called MESSY will never be back again do your self a favor and go to McDonald's if I could rate lower I would (also they we're serving EXPIRED food all day the only reason why I know that, is because THEY TALKED ABOUT IT OPENLY IN FRONT OF THE VERY COSTUMERS...

First experience ever walking unto a huddle house and it wasn't the best. Coming from a forum area into this breakfast place wasn't enjoyable. Food was good yes so 5 stars for the cooks. Customer service wasn't amazing saw many frowns everywhere you looked and it look like chaos when first stepping inside. So after 5 mins of waiting recon they were a little busy I ask for coffee. The little short lady must have assumed I like my coffee black cause I got no offer for creamer. Actually I had to ask for creamer more than once. Next thing I know about 10 mins later we get our food and they must have thought we were goin to eat with our fingers because there was no silver ware given to us. Witch is supposed to be given to you before you even get your food. So were eating and talking and I go to pay. Okay so I do the math in my head what I'm supposed to receive, the amount was 26. 48 I gave her a 100. Okay first thing is I was a cashier before so I know how it works and I excel in math so I knew instantly what I was suppose to be given back. This lady starts with handing me the 1's then 5's then 20's witch is totally backwards. Well I blew it off. Then before giving my change she says have a nice day. Well I expect all my change back not just part of it. And that's what made me upset. Good food but employees need to be a little bit more aware. I also noticed the manager there so I hope...

So we witnessed our waitress who seemed to be the head waitress if not the manager as she argued and yelled at a little old lady about sitting at a booth saying she was not allowed to sit there as the waitress argued about how the people who came in after this elder lady was there 1st when they wasn't. Even the people who cqme in after the older lady tried to tell the waitress how they came in after the older lady . After the elder lady started to cry the girl from the other group said to the waitress louder how they came in afterwards and that the older lady was before the group. The waitress who ended up being the elder ladies waitress for her and 2 others who joined the older lady few minutes later never ever apologized for her misunderstanding or for her behavior towards her. There is NO reason to treat any older person the way my wife and I witnessed at this location. Btw this is now the 2nd time at this location we have seen and witnessed this type of behavior by the same waitress. I don't know how this location stays in business with this type of staff. Also the waitress talks down and at the staff in front of customers and the same way to the customers as I was 1 of them the 1st I went to this location.

Until they replace the staff I wouldn't recommend even parking in their...
