We love to eat out. 1st time at this place at first time leaving a bad review. We had a party of 9. My daughter ordered a taco salad with fajita chicken and lettuce only. They brought it with everything on it. Waitress immediately noticed it and said she’d fix it. Brought back what looked like they’d taken off the top and that was it. The bottom was full of onions etc. The rest of us had finished our meal, 20 minutes had gone by or something to the likes of it and had not even seen our waitress to tell her the problem. We finally saw her taking orders of a large party next to us. We did not want to make her look bad. My daughter ate 2 pieces of chicken bc she was starving, we were still waiting and again our table was done eating. We took the salad to the kitchen and were told they’d fix it. Next the owner or manager came out and said they were charging us bc the chicken was eaten and either the waitress must pay for it or we had to. People there were apparently only 2 pieces of chicken on it bc that’s all she ate. Pathetic business mentality. I’m amazed they would rather have 3 paying adults/2 families leave dissatisfied than make it right for a few dollars. And they could’ve cared less what we thought. Then the waitress told us we should have come and found her . Also we asked the kitchen to just take the salad back and give us a regular taco. That was 3rd order and...
Read moreI hate leaving bad reviews. We are new to Oneonta, so trying new restaurants is so fun! Perhaps I’ll give it another chance, another time but I felt this topic is important—-customer service!!! Regardless if there is a language barrier or not, you need to find a way to communicate, check on your customers and ask questions. We are paying customers! I’m ok if you don’t speak English, and because our waiter didn’t even talk to us I have no idea if he could speak English, point is, we werent taken care of. I never, ever send my food back, I love food lol so I was so disappointed that I had to send mine back. They literally put a burnt tortilla on my plate. I could have used it as a weapon. Then the rest of my food was cold-it’s a mystery for sure. The waiter didn’t say anything, just took the plate and went on his merry way. So I sat and watched my kid and husband eat. Which was fine I filled up on chips and cold cheese dip. (Listen I know I sound rude I promise I’m not, bad reviews are just that, bad reviews). I get it..everyone has bad days, and good food can be bad sometimes. I might give it another try but the only reason I have gave 3 stars was the building itself, is beautiful. But you have to impress me more, than just with...
Read moreHappy cinco de mayo!!! My first time here and what a great choice! This place was a great pick to celebrate with Mexico! We didn't have to wait long despite the holiday and the crowd! They had live music and an outdoor seating area! We got a table quickly and our server came to us quickly as well as our chips and salsa. He was an upbeat young man who was very helpful and knowledgeable. He had a great attitude and made suggestions to our group. We ordered drinks from the bar and the top shelf margarita was fantastic!! I would very much recommend it! The beers were quickly served ice cold and our food came out quickly and hot! The atmosphere in this place is very well done and the bar is full service! The portions of food served are more than enough to fill you up. You will get much attention from the staff as they will come to your table every 10 minutes or do yo ask if you need anything. Which was nice! The prices are reasonable and there's plenty of parking. The menu is very vast with much to choose from. The others in my party have eaten here before and said they've never had a bad meal. I'm looking forward to...
