Honestly idk how you guys have gotten all those reviews unless they r fake. My husband and I came here for Father’s Day based off these reviews and honestly we were both very very disappointed. First off. Our server looked angry from the start bringing out our water. Then she had us waiting 15 min after we told here we just need a couple more minutes because it was our first time there. Then we had to flag someone else down just to get them to call her to come back to take our order. Then I asked for the carne asada burrito and no beans then I asked what all comes inside and she said just beans and meat. And I said ok so if I get the burrito without beans it’s just meat and tortilla?? Made no sense why u guys would a plate that cost more just to have the rice on the side. So she said well tell me what u want inside and we will put it inside, do u want everything on the plate inside? I said ok yeah sure. And add cheese. I’m pregnant and starving by this point and they finally bring our food out. The salasa wasn’t that good on my husbands chilaquiles, also the asada was either rotten or close to it but I felt extremely uncomfortable eating the quarter of the burrito that we got. So more then half went to waist and my husband was also so disappointed with the service and food to top it off he is a first time father now here soon in two months and I wanted this meal to be decent and we left very unhappy. Our server is lucky he is nice cause I honestly told him not to tip her anything for her attitude and then I changed my mind as well and we left her $5. So a total of $50 for nasty food that was probably bad and risked me or my baby was hi is unborn getting sick. Waist of our time and money and we will not be coming back here ever. Upon coming in on Sunday at 10am. It was fairly empty with a group of waiters (4) sitting and talking. Where the hostess led us to our booth and the first thing my wife did was clean off our seats. I ordered coffee and it was tasteless. Followed by our meals. She had the caldo de res (beef soup) , I had steak and eggs, and we ordered the shredded beef taco for the little one. The meat on her soup was tough and looked black which made us assume it was possibly older meat. She said it was tasteless and all her vegetables looked bottom of the barrel. They bring you Pico de gallo to garnish it as opposed to onion/cilantro and we had to ask for lemon. My Carne asada steak was old and tasteless. The over hard eggs were tasteless as well. I've had better eggs on a us navy ship using powdered eggs. The refried beans were bland and smothered in cheese to cover it up. Our daughters food didn't look appealing and we didn't urge her to eat any more than what she did. Lastly I didn't get more coffee until the end of the meal after asking for some and although it was a fresh batch did not have any taste. After about 45 minutes of being there the restaurant was almost full. I noticed that there is more than enough waiters/waitresses so they didn't seem overworked. They brought out food fairly quickly. Most people pay the bill based on the ticket and don't ask for a detail ticket with the prices. First of all they have no pos system so the waitress have to fill in the prices by hand. At that point you will see how they drastically over charge. I went this week and again it happened to me. I asked for her to write the prices in and she charged me $9 dollars to 2 taquitos. When i questioned her she stated oh I charged you for the lunch special with the beans and rice. However, its not a one time mistake they do this every time. Another customer said to me this is how they make their tips. Any overage at the end of the day is split among the waitresses. I have complained 3 years ago and this is still happening.
