We don't eat at KFC too often, so I didn't really want to order to begin with but wanted to get it for my husband. I had ordered on the app at 6:27pm and said my order would be ready at 6:35 so I rushed to get to the location. When I arrived to the location, I waited in line and finally got to the counter and had to tell the guy my name twice to which he just walked away and never came back to update me. Guess the drive thru was more important than the guests waiting inside, when there was someone else already tending to the drive thru. I go sit down expecting to wait longer with the lack of customer service I had already received. While waiting I see the usual "we're out of such and such do you want something else?" To other diners and I'm still waiting with no update. At like 650ish in walks an African American couple who are picking up an order, I believe they ordered in the drive thru and had to come pick up inside judging by the interaction they had with "Viviana". She was the one who was running the drive thru and was suddenly up front all cheery and smiley (you know the super fake customer service attitude) asking if they needed anything else and thanked them for waiting and got them everything they asked for. Thanked them again and asked if everything was okay and if it was if they'd leave a review for them online and told them where to go. The guy (Hispanic) who ordered in line while I was waiting got his food after me and she was polite to his as well. I waited a few more minutes and heard her say my name in the back so I was like okay I'm next, its about to be 7 at this point and I'm tired of waiting and seriously regretting coming to this place. She calls my name. I walk up and go to check everything and she doesn't say anything to me and walks away. Comes back and starts calling names for other orders to let them know it they were out of something and if they wanted something else and another guy his order was coming up. She full on ignored me while I'm standing in front of her while she's yelling out to other people. Finally I ask "can I get some honey please?" She goes yeah, grabs some and drops it in my bag, no thank you, have a nice night, thank you for your patience, nothing. Guess I was the wrong skin color for her with me...
Read moreI did an online pick up order that was a simply family deal which gave me an order confirmation number and an email. It was automatically charged on my card and set to be ready by 5:09pm. It is currently 5:39pm and my husband just got the order. They kept saying they could not find the order in the system so i called in and spoke to the manager named Elizabeth. She then told me that they could not find it under the number that we gave her that was displayed on our confirmation page as the order number. We let them know the order and they said they needed the actual order to see what we bought so they could give us our food. I dont understand the point of the online ordering if it gives us a order confirmation number and its suppose to be ready for pick up, you would think it would be an easy to go in and have our order ready atleast. Thirty minutes for an order to be ready is absurd, not to mention they prioritize grub hub and postmates orders over their own companies online orders. I think that we were better off going threw the drive thru or walking in to make an order. The reason we don't use out grub hub or postmate accounts is because in the past we have got our orders unfulfilled so we wanted to see how the online pick up would work out, obviously not a fan. Read moreOne of my son's favorite things to do is have lunch with me on a Saturday afternoon now his favorite places to go is to KFC we usually go to the one in Chino off of Central Avenue however we were going this direction on this particular Saturday and went to the one on Mission I don't know if this is true or not but you can kind of tell when things are owned differently when they're privately owned or when they're corporately-owned this particular location I felt like they did not know what was going on even the flavor of the food kind of tasted differently that was homeless people coming in and out to use the bathroom for a particular time there I felt unsafe I did tell my son I don't want to come to this location anymore lastly we had purchased different types of strips and popcorn chicken and ask for all the different flavorings that they have at this other location for sauce and they only had two sauces that were available.
