I have to say this pizza place has been here for quite a while and this is the first time I've been here. I will say I have been missing something good here. The pandemic makes hard to enjoy the atmosphere of the place however the food definitely makes up for it. Arriving there we got a friendly greeting ( which by the way is a great way to start). Then the choice of what to have begins. We decided on two large pizzas and a ten piece of BBQ wings. The first pizza was a meat lovers which has pepperoni, Italian sausage, Canadian bacon and salami. For fun we added mushrooms to this one, the second was called the Matty which was about the same as the meat lovers but the salami was replaced with pineapple ( no comment from the fruit on pizza haters š). Both pizzas had a chewy crust as opposed to a thin crispy crust. Now I like thin crust but this crust was nice and worked here. Now to say they don't hold back on toppings would be stating it mildly. Both pizzas has more than enough toppings that it was had some times to keep them on the pizza which I say is perfect you can never have to many toppings as long as you don't go overboard, which they don't do. Both pizzas has great flavor and Luke I said the crust worked here. The last item we got was a ten piece of bone in chicken wings in BBQ sauce. The wings were crispy nice size not too small and also not overly sauced so you got the juicy taste of the wings and the sauce was amazing. Overall the whole experience was great and I can't wait to be able to eat there and have a great night out. Michael Angelo's Pizza is definitely some place you should visit well...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is hands down the best pizza Iāve had!! The pizza dough is so delicate and fluffy . It is perfectly baked that it melts in your mouth. The pizza tastes exactly the same as it did back in 2008. The quality of the pizza here and wings are superb!!! I live in San Diego now and whenever Iām in the area I come here! My husband was with me this time and he loved it! The green salad was nothing special just iceberg lettuce with tomatoes, croutons and olives. But the Mariana sauce is so tasty itās not overly sweet nor too acidic. The wings were cooked to perfection; they were non-greasy or over fried. They have different options on frying as well. They also have a plethora of beers as well! šāŗļø So grateful this place survived the pandemic!!! Wish they had one in San Diego! We got the Michelangeloās special half and half turn two. My husband got the Mexican pizza. We got garlic Parmesan wing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe frequent this Pizza joint as a way to raise money for our son's football team. It's usually crowded with sport teams and families. They have picnic style seating with long tables and benches and a side room that's available to reserve for parties, etc. They have an order counter, when you pay you get a number and a server brings your food. It's moderately priced, not expensive, but certainly not cheap. The pizza is good and the crust is like warm french bread. Try their original wings, they are crispy and delicious. The beer is pricey but a cold pitcher is very cold when served, no lukewarm beer to worry about! They have a soda fountain and I like that you have the ability to get yourself refills. This place can get crowded and noisy, but the atmosphere is super laid back, the food is good and that makes it worth it...
