They're still in their soft opening, located in the Food 4 Less plaza. The inside is clean with a good amount of seating.
They do sell poke bowls but they mostly have Hawaiian platters of grilled chicken, bbq beef, beef short ribs, fried katsu chicken, fried Cajun garlic shrimp with shell on.
I chose to get the most fancy one, Make it Bougie ($29.90) which is a whole beef rib, grilled chicken, lobster tail, and 4 fried Cajun garlic shrimp. It came with a side of rice and macaroni salad.
All of the meat was tender, the beef rib was easy to cut into with a plastic knife. Not too fatty with a good amount of meat. The chicken was moist and the sauce it came with was not too salty. Lobster tail was already removed from the shell and it was tender. I do like the crispy shrimp with Cajun garlic butter. It was crispy enough that the shells and tail can be eaten, they gave enough sauce for all the shrimp and the size of them were good.

Read moreHawaiian BBQ / Asian fusion restaurant near Ontario CA. I believe at the time of this writing, 4/19/2025, this location is under a soft opening. Lots of different chicken, beef and pork BBQ options, including one of our favorites Curry and Chicken Katsu. The BBQ chicken was very good, the Katsu chicken was also quite good. The not so good was the Bulgogi beef, it contained quite a bit of unchewable tendon nerves. We were also not so crazy about the curry sauce, it tasted not too bad, but tasted quite store bought, similar to the curry flavor blocks from the Chinese supermarkets. The rice however was a perfect consistency, and this is coming from a Oriental person; rice was awesome. All in all, not too bad, as long as they correct some of the shortcomings such as the Curry sauce and...
Read moreSpotted this place on Instagram and couldn’t resist giving it a try, the photos made it look like a must-visit. We went for the combo plate with lobster, shrimp, ribs, and chicken, hoping to get a little taste of everything. The rib and shrimp stood out as clear favorites: flavorful, well-cooked, and worth the trip. The lobster, on the other hand, missed the mark, overcooked and begging for some butter to bring it back to life, though that may have been partly our fault for taking it to a nearby brewery to enjoy, we didnt eat it right away. Seating at the spot was tight, and the parking lot was jammed, so be prepared for a bit of a squeeze. Still, if you’re in the area, I’d absolutely stop in again just for those ribs, they’ve got something special...
