Tacos el Juanito — Restaurant in Ontario

I've never been here before at this point I haven't even tried the food. I originally went into dine in, but decided to get it to go after my first experience there.

I walked in and not one person greeted me. They all looked at me. They were all standing around the kitchen talking, which is fine, but I didn't get a Greeting which threw me off because it made everything really awkward when I walked to the counter and I'm trying to order. Everybody's just looking at me, It's obvious I wanted to ordered. I had to order from across the room still nobody walked up to the counter. I told him what I wanted while they were all just hanging out in the back, sitting down, talking and standing around. I waited for a few moments to see if somebody gonna take my payment and again nobody Walked up they just continue To talk while one person started making my burrito, so I went to go sit down and a few moments later, somebody walked up charged me for my burrito. I then walked over to the salsa bar to get my toppings and fixings within that time, I guess they had put my burrito in a bag on the counter, but didn't tell me so I went to go sit back down while I'm waiting for my burrito to be done. It was already in the bag. Nobody said your food was ready nothin. Complete trash service. Based off that I will never go over there again. I haven't even tried the food yet. I'm writing this before. Partner and I stopped by El Juanito around 11:30pm on a Thursday, expecting a quiet atmosphere since it's a 24/7 location. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant bustling with activity, despite the late hour. The staff was impressive, with numerous employees working together to keep up with the demand. Although I wasn't particularly hungry, I opted for the al pastor burrito, which could have benefited from a bit more flavor. On the other hand, the carne asada fries looked incredibly appetizing and were definitely on my radar for next time. The service was prompt and friendly, with our server efficiently attending to our needs. Overall, while my meal was sufficient, I appreciated the convenience and energy of this 24/7 spot. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other dishes, especially those delectable-looking carne...

It was ok. When I saw three 400 pans on the line full of pre-cooked protein, beef, chicken and adobada, I don't know but, if I'm the only customer in there ordering food and with 2 to-go orders arrived after I ordered, I didn't leave until an hour after I got there, I'd be cooking tacos and burrito proteins to order instead of re-cooking, not reheating but re-cooking the meats. 3 stars because it was ok, the salsas were watery and lacking flavor.
