Mariscos Mexico Lindo — Restaurant in Ontario

I'm so dissapointed of this place. I've been a consistent customer of this restaurant for quite some time, but NOT anymore after the experience i've encountered. In one occasion, i had lunch with my girl friend and when she received her plate, there was a hair in her food. She immediately pushed it over and ordered something else without telling the waiter, since my girlfriend is very conservative, she did not want to make a big deal and wanted to avoid making a scene. The second time, we had lunch here. And AGAIN, she found a hair in her food. So we brought it up to the waiters attention but the waiter gave ZERO acknowledgement, it was almost as if they get similar cases on a regular basis. So they decided to bring my girlfriend a new fresh dish, which at this point was really uncomfortable watching because of the thoughts of a hair sticking out of the surface was pretty disgusting, so my girlfriend barely ate a portion of it. So I went to pay the check and requested to have the 2nd order to be taken off my bill. But apparently since they gave us a new batch, there was no chance of them doing that. I was completely appalled the way I was treated after being a returning customer for so long. The dirty faces and the bad attitude they were giving us after this dispute has left me dissapointed and with a bad taste in our mouths. This was our first time trying this place and I must say we will definitely be returning. The ladies there are very nice and they pay attention to detail. Very pleasant attitudes. Love that. We ordered to go but next time we'll eat there. The place is very clean. Lots of seating. I got the combo platter, it was not a plate, it was a platter of food! I love that they put it in a bigger size tray instead of cramming it all together in 2 or 3 Styrofoam containers. The presentation was great. The platter came with taquitos, chile relleno, cheese enchiladas, rice and beans. My husband got the chile Verde and albondigas. The chile verde was so good, a little kick but not to spicy. The albondigas was a big container of deliciousness. 8 nice size meatballs, lots off veggies and the broth was perfect. My son got a grilled chicken burrito. The burrito is EXTRA large and my son said, finally a good chicken burrito. He's very picky. The chips and salsa are 👍👌🙌. Can't wait to try their breakfast...

A block away from my house and I rather drive to Mariscos Camacho. The staff here are friendly but the food is horrible! I order the mojarra frita and the fish was way over cooked, so hard it felt like a chicharron in my mouth I went for a 2nd time bc its so close to my house and I specified that I wanted the fish soft from inside, once again hard as a chicharron. And when they bring the plate out its extremely hot which means it was under the lamps too long or they put it in the microwave to warm it up, if I wanted microwave food I'd stayed home and made my self a maruchan! Their prices are avarage for seafood place but not worth it for what you get. I will only go back to this place when they get a decent chef that knows what he/she is doing bc its horrible, even the complementary salsa they give you with your chips its too runny it's as if they put water and tomatoes in the blender, no flavor.
