2024 Update: We visited this location again and were very pleased with the meal we had. The server was so friendly and very attentive. Sadly i didn't get her name. The vegetable beef soup was delicious. I am sure I will regret not bringing some home. The salad was a hearty portion and even though it was a little wilted, it still tasted good. The spaghetti with meat sauce was a much larger portion than we thought it would be for a half order and it was bursting with flavor. There were quite a few good sized chunks of meat. The garlic bread had just the right amount of garlic and butter. Tonight we also had the spumoni and it was a good size dish of ice cream and oh so delicious. Glad we stopped in tonight, we will be back again. Past Review A childhood favorite that I couldn't wait to visit. It had been 3 years since my last visit. I was sad to find out that it is not what it used to be. The sauce was not as flavorful, actually quite bland. The meatballa were very mushy and lacking in flavor. The salad was only iceberg lettuce and very few grated carrots with dressing. The lasagna had a hard layer on top, making it difficult to enjoy. Unfortunately, the soup, cheese bread, and garlic bread were they only items we enjoyed.

Located off Holt Blvd between Central Ave and Mountain Ave. I've been coming to Vince's as far back as I can remember. Every time I stop in, it brings back different memories. The decor still remains the same from what I can remember and to be honest, I'm good with that. It's like going back to your parents home. The restaurant's actually pretty spacious with a lot of seating. There's a good combination of booth and table seating with a couple bar seats, although I'm not sure if the bar seating's still used. The menu's limited with a focus on spaghetti. I mean they serve over 21 tons of spaghetti every month, and over 15,000 miles each year. I usually rotate between spaghetti and lasagna during my visits. Unfortunately, during my last stop, I was informed the lasagna has been discontinued. Hopefully this isn't long term and they bring it back in the future. Vince's usually has a couple local craft beers on draft which is nice. I went with Claremont Craft Ales 35 Miles NE which is a New England hazy. I enjoy eating at Vince's and will continue for many more years. If you haven't been here before, you should stop in for dinner and see what you think.

Obviously delish—this place is a staple when it comes to Italian food in the IE. Definitely a must-try if you haven’t been! The cheese on the salad is so good, and the ranch is fire. You can tell the sauces are homemade, and everything just tastes super fresh. I usually get the lasagna—it’s sooo good and super filling. Honestly, I can never finish my meal because I go for the soup and salad first and skip the garlic or cheese bread (my husband, of course, gets it all 😂). It is a must, that I get spumoni at any Italian restaurant that offers it. Always delicious, always hits the spot. Service is always excellent—we had a really sweet lady who kept our drinks full and checked on us often to make sure we were good. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, but I will say the inside could use a little TLC. It’s definitely a bit outdated and could use some visual updates, but that doesn’t take away from how good the food and service are.

Go here if you like affordable prices, huge portions and less-than-authentic Italian food served with a side of mediocre service. (I go here under protest when in-laws visit from out of state as they grew up going to family meals at this place in the 60s and 70s). The portions are big enough to feed two people without having to worry about leftovers. The service itself, from one particular server, needs some spicing up. As the server, an older, less-than friendly Caucasian woman, took our order, she wrote down the names for each order (Bob, Richard, Margaret, David, Paul, Ruth, Brenda, etc.), but requested I provide an easier name when I gave her my name: Alicia (aw-lee-see-aw). After I repeated it twice, she said, "Alyssa it is because that's easy!" Who knew vowels were so difficult? (Fun fact: I was the only non-Caucasian in the group of 15). When she delivered the order about 20-30 minutes later, I made comment about the way the food is brought out to large parties -- in multi-level carts. I said, "Now that's how you serve large parties." She immediately gave me a look expressing her annoyance with me, my voice or something else that seemed personal. Her reaction was noticeable by those closest to me in our party as someone remarked, "No comments allowed!" We all laughed except her. While I ordered the spaghetti with marinara sauce, I received fusilli with marinara sauce. (Everyone else's order was correct). Rather than send it back and wait another 20 minutes or so, I just ate it. The spaghetti sauce tasted like tomatoes, the most prominent flavor in the entire dish. But I suppose, one goes there "for the experience" as the in-laws assert, not necessarily the food itself. On the positive side, the cheese bread is delicious which is why this kitschy place merits a 3-star, although a 2.5 seems more appropriate given the lackluster service. It's difficult to enjoy a meal when the staff seems sickened at the sight of...

Updated-Gnats/Mosquitoes in dining area. We have been coming here for years. The food is still pretty good but take it to-go. The inside of this establishment has not been kept up and is verging on a health inspection violation. The tables were dirty. The seating was dirty and cracked. They only seat in the back room with the yellow wall. This room has gnats/mosquitoes flying around while ppl are eating they are swatting them away. It’s completely disgusting and the staff and management do nothing. My Husband got bit and we had to move tables. We rushed to eat our food and leave. We will not be dining here any longer. Very sad that this place has gone downhill and management can careless about the patrons.

4- years ago- A family favorite 😍 I have been visiting this location since I was a kid. We go here for birthdays, celebrations, or just because we’re hungry 😊 The food is always delicious. The meat sauce is flavorful, savory, heavenly. The marinara is as delicious 😋 Our regular order includes a spaghetti dinner full serving with meat sauce, a few meatballs, garlic bread with extra garlic, cheese bread, and a bowl of shredded cheese. The dinner includes salad and soup. The soup is amazing. I usually save it for lunch the next day. Whether you eat in or take-out the food and service is equally GREAT! They sell their sauces by the gallon! I Love ordering this for a family gathering. They also have desserts. Their cheesecake, spumoni, and carrot cake are sweet deliciousness 😋😋😋 If you are in the area definitely stop in for an...

Vince’s Spaghetti Ontario is a delightful Italian restaurant that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and family gatherings. Renowned for its authentic flavors and generous portions, Vince’s consistently delivers a satisfying dining experience.

The spaghetti and meatballs at Vince’s are simply outstanding. The pasta is perfectly cooked to al dente, providing a nice bite that complements the tender, flavorful meatballs. The sauce is a highlight—rich, tangy, and seasoned just right, with a hint of herbs that elevate the dish. It’s a classic comfort food done exceptionally well, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to traditional Italian recipes.

Their lasagna is another standout dish that keeps customers coming back. Layers of perfectly cooked pasta interlaced with savory meat sauce, creamy béchamel, and melted cheese create a hearty, flavorful masterpiece. The pasta layers are tender yet firm, and the balance of ingredients results in a rich, satisfying bite every time. The portion size is generous, making it a great choice for sharing or indulging in a hearty meal.

Overall, Vince’s Spaghetti Ontario excels in delivering homestyle Italian cuisine with a touch of authenticity. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Whether you’re craving classic spaghetti and meatballs or a comforting lasagna, Vince’s provides delicious dishes that remind you of Grandma’s cooking. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking genuine Italian...
