My wife and I went into your restaurant this morning and they had a worker his name was jack(he stated) and he was very rude. He stated that he was the only cashier and my wife waited in line 15 minutes inside your restaurant to place an order and he said drive thru comes first and he was telling the customers in the drive thru that it was credit or debit card only so that way he could get them through fast(per district manager &his manager that drive thru comes first)He didn’t want to take the time to take cash. Mind you my wife still waiting in line no one in front of her. There was no car in the drive thru. So I went up there asked him if he would take our order and he said no!! Someone pulled up in the drive thru they came first. I told him all we wanted was 2- biscuits and gravy and he still said we had to wait or you can leave or I could place my order in the drive thru. He threatened me with his father he said he would call him and have us removed from the restaurant or he could push a button and have us removed that way. My wife is really upset that your employee would treat us that way. We have been going to your restaurant for 5 years.I have called the corporate headquarters to make a complaint against your store to see if something can be done about the employee . This the jacks on pepperell pkwy in Opelika. I would like to speak with the district manager or someone at the...
Read moreWent in day after work, placed my order and observed an employee making my sandwich without protective latex gloves. Moreover, the was talking on his cell phone while making my with his naked hand. I say hand because the other had his cell phone firmly shoved in his ear. So being polite individual that I am, I very discreetly gained the attention of the cashier who took my order. I asked are y'all not required to wear latex gloves in here? She quickly looked at the guy preparing my sandwich and said shyly, "We should be wearing them, huh?" To which, I replied, yeah! She then proceeded to tell the guy making the sandwich what I had observed him doing, he glanced at me, put his phone, pushed the incomplete sandwich to the side, turned his back to me while murmuring something to the cashier. Then he put on a pair of latex gloves and commenced to making me another sandwich, in my view, I wanna add. That's very, very important. If you know what I mean! I couldn't hear what he had said to the cashier, I can only assume it wasn't anything nice, otherwise he would have said it to as well. In the final analysis, I a different sandwich, made correctly, this time and the cashier threw in very stealthy an apple pie that I hadn't ordered. No apology, not even a thank you. That was 5 months ago, I have been back to this, or any Jack's location since and won't go back. I choose to boycott...
Read moreI actually drove quite a way off of the the Interstate to visit Mrs. Storys Dairy Bar, but it was closed for a week or so, due to the folks being on vacation. So I popped across the road and got some grub at Jack's.
The regular "double cheeseburger", ain't. It's a double burger with a single slice of cheese. Yes, I see what y'all did there, Jack's.
On the plus side, the fries were crinkle cut and massive. No lie, some of those things were upwards of 5"-6" long. I've never seen fries that size at other fast food joints. I think I posted a pic of this Bigfoot-like phenomenon.
Clean men's room, very nice staff. A pleasant experience, overall.
Ah. The ketchup is very thin and tasteless. Dang near tasteless. But still very thin. Like it barely coats a fry and still drips all over you. Minus a star for that cheap nonsense. There's no reason for this, today. Fix it, Jack's. Your ketchup sucks. And fix that "double cheeseburger" that isn't actually a double...
