Bella Italia Pizzeria — Restaurant in Oradell

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! They use a company called slice to take the order and then they call the restaurant to relay the order, because they don’t have Internet. Apparently slice relayed our order wrong so we did not receive the pizza that we ordered. When I called Pronto’s, I spoke to a woman who screamed at me that it “isn’t their fault” slice gave them the wrong order so it “isn’t their problem” so basically they were totally happy to take my money and not care to replace the incorrect order that they delivered. I obviously contacted slice as well but this was handled so disgustingly the owner should be embarrassed at that display. While they may have “made the order they received” they chose to use this service for their online ordering so it is their fault regardless. Zero customer service or customer loyalty. Won’t be ordering from them again. UPDATE This is the email I received back from slice: Hello Leah,

Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to hear that your order from Pronto Pizza was incorrect.

I managed to get a hold of the restaurant regarding this and they of course denied making a mistake. Nevertheless, i checked the recording of the call by which the order was transmitted and we clearly transmitted it as pepperoni.

When I gave them proof that they made the mistake they kept denying it and said that they don't make mistakes. Weird, I understand but I assure you that this behaviour won't go unnoticed. I just want you to know that the order was transmitted correctly from our end.

Further, we appreciate your business and would like to see you order again from us in the future. Even though the pizzeria is not willing to send a new pizza or refund you for the one they made incorrectly I've gone ahead and added $7 credit to your Slice account. That amount will be automatically deducted from your next Slice order.

I really wish they would send another pizza but they run their business and there's no way for me to convince them to do that.

A solid slice spot. I tried the pepperoni, mushroom, and Margherita slices. I like Bella Italia better than the former Pronto Pizza that occupied the same space.

EDIT: Below review was for Pronto Pizza, which occupied the same space. The owner of Bella Italia should rename this listing back to Pronto Pizza, mark it as permanently closed, and open a new listing for Bella Italia so that the reviews are separated.

A decent local pizzeria. Not terrible, not amazing. I tried the mushroom, pepperoni, and chicken slices. The crust has good flavor and good springiness, but there is just too much of it compared to the sauce, cheese, and toppings. This could be a great spot, in my opinion, if they could make a thinner crust.

Edit: I wonder if they have consistency issues with their kitchen staff. Most photos here have slices with crusts much thinner than what...

I stopped in this pizza place last week as I am in the area often. The pizza looked old and not fresh so I figured you cant go wrong with mozzarella sticks right? WRONG... When i took that first bite i literally spit it out. It tasted OLD and like it was frozen so the outside was hot but the inside was ice cold.

When i brought it back in to tell them the man used his hands to squish it to tell me its hot. No its not i just tried it. I told him can I have my money back? he said NO so not only did he not refund me, he didn't bother to make me a new one after his nasty hands were all over them. I told him to keep the $10 because clearly they are that hard up for business they need it.

The ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE AND FOOD IN THE AREA. WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT OF AN ESTABLISHMENT. STAY AWAY...
