This is why your stores turn-over rate is sooooo horrible at your Park Ave store, your FEMALE Managers priorities and goals for your store are wasted on silliness. I went in for just some cups of ICE. That's it ICE, I offered to pay for the ICE and was told BY THE SHORT FEMALE MANAGER that she can't charge me for ICE and that I must buy a drink. I asked her to charge me for a drink and she told me not to worry about it and that she couldn't do that. Came in several times to get ice. I did offer to pay for the ice and she told me to buy a drink. I have no problem with buying drink but I don't want a drink. Today I go in there and yes I got 4 cups of ice and then I decided to get two more, the short female manager sent one of the workers to tell me I need to pay for the ice. NOT A PROBLEM. I talk to the short female Manager and tell her I have offered to pay for this ice and you never took the money. I tell her I have 6 cups of ice and she charged me for 2 cups, NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL. I asked if I bring my own cups how much would you charge me for the ice and she said (the short female manager) said "the price of a drink REFILL." I said for ONLY ICE. I said you're gonna charge me a drink refill price for ICE. ICE, ICE with my own cup. I said ok. I'm not the only person who gets that many cups of ICE. I ALWAYS WANTED TO PAY FOR THE ICE, BUT YOU DIDN'T TAKE MY MONEY. It's ICE! Everytime I go in that Wawas the short female manager watches me like I'm going to steal ICE. Read moreI have had a 100% travel job for 7 years now. I frequent Wawa's at all hours, and consistently around 130 AM, as I frequently work a very early morning shift. I've worked this area many times over the years. However, at this moment, this is my 3rd week here, and this Wawa is now the most consistent, by far. I appreciate that the coffee is ALWAYS fresh and hot, even at 130 AM. The drink station is ALWAYS open. Food is consistently made and portioned.
The coffee is something that stands out to me above the other Wawa's. Its always old and cold at other locations, unless its the regular time in the AM when a lot of people get coffee. Then you have to wait 20 min, and they forget Wawa's policy that if you wait, you don't pay. There was just one day during my recent stay here that the coffee wasn't very hot (it wasn't THAT old). The person that started the new pot for me had left, and I literally waited just under 20 min. I know it was not intentional, its all good. And yes, it was offered to me for free.
I had to leave this review, this store has upgraded from a year and a half ago. And I've seen so many inconsistencies at MANY locations, including too much old coffee, and even rude employees. They're nice here. However, when the store is very slow, a simple "hello" would be... welcoming. Thats the only thing lacking is customer interaction. Read moreThis is the worst wawa ever. It's the only one on my way to work in the mornings. So I stop and get coffee every morning. I get 1 of 2 things every time but it feels like I get a different coffee then what I want every morning. I always get a vanilla coffee with cream, sugar and 2% milk the only thing different is either I get iced or frozen. No matter what one I choose they mess it up everything. Either they don't put sugar in it or most of the time they don't put the milk in it. I'm already running late for work most times and me having to return my drink every morning so they can fix there mistake just makes me later. This could be easily fixed if employees would actually read what your ordering and make it right. But instead of them reading the screen and making it the right way. They are more worried about talking and gossiping to one another every morning about there personal lives or the customers that come in. Workers are very disrespectful with there conversations and attitudes. Or they are griping in general about there job. I am so tired of paying yall my hard earned money just so u can give me something I don't want or make me late for work cause I have to replace it. Will not ever be coming back to this location. I will get up half an hour early to go to the gate station that is out of my way to work or pay tons of money at a starbucks if it means getting something that I want and pay for. Thanks...
