DO NOT EAT HERE! THEY SPIT ON FOOD!!!!
So my boyfriend and I were hungry and it was 11:30 last night (Wed., 10/17/2018) so we decided to stop at this Krystals. We went through the drive thru and ordered five krystal chiks, a junkyard fries and a medium fry. When paying, we were informed by the cashier that we would have to wait 5 min for one krystals chik to be cooked because they didn't have enough ready, at which point I asked if they could cook them all fresh. The cashier got a grim look on his face but claimed he would get them all cooked fresh. 5 minutes later, the cashier brought us out our food to the area by the front door, saying "you two both have a wonderful night" in an eerie tone, almost as though he was mocking us. My boyfriend echoed my thoughts aloud. We were rushing, so he drove off while I was separating the food. Immediately once I felt the food, I realized that they did not cook them all fresh and of course, only one was in fact freshly cooked. My fries were warm and I gave my boyfriend the fresh one so I was eating those when, on his second, unfresh chik, he immediately spit out once biting and claimed the bread was soggy and it felt as though it had been spit on. I unbelievingly pulled apart another sandwich and sure enough, there was a soggy spot on the bread with a quarter sized, halfway soaked piece of spit laid on it. I could not keep myself from throwing up, which got all over the dash and floorboard. Once we were able to stop and clean up, I called krystals and was greeted by Austin, who claimed to be the manager once I asked to speak with one. I asked if he was also the cashier and he confirmed he was in fact the same cashier who not only refused to cook all of our food fresh and prevent losing customers from serving food that had been sitting for hours, but who also was undoubtedly the culprit that spit on our food and then taunted us when he brought out the food he degraded. I told him I would call in the morning so I could speak to someone else and hung up. From there, we went to Whataburger and spent $12.29 more than planned, but received hot, fresh and unoffensive patty melts. I will never go to another krystals again and sincerely hope no one ever experiences an experience like the one we underwent last night. The fact that Krystals didn't just hire a mean spirited individual like Austin, but also appointed him as manager says a lot about Krystals as a company and it is no surprise that they are closing in many cities and I am unsure as to how this one...

This was my 2nd visit 8/27/21 at 11:30pm and there was no line when I pulled up just one car in front of me placing their order, not sure how long he waited before they took his order but I waited behind him for 5 mins and then I pulled up, no one said ANYTHING, not ill be with you in a minute...nothing so I figured based on my previous experience that there was only one person working, she was taking orders and preparing the food so I waited and waited for 15 mins while other cars behind me just drove off which is what I should have done after 5 mins smh I finally left after 15 mins and as I pulled around past the window the car that was in front of me was GONE, the whole time I was sitting there I thought they was still assisting them, which was the reason no one had taken my order yet but nope that was not the case!! At least tell me you're on break or closed early or something!!! I guess that explains why there was no line both visits and looking at the reviews it seems to be an ongoing problem after dark smh Whats really sad is even with the complaints NOTHING has changed so whats the point of replying to the reviews and apologizing if you all don't intend to fix it!?🤷♀️ Not sure what the situation is during the day but do NOT go here at night, maybe thats what they want and if that's the case then change your closing hours!! You would think since their revenue comes from drive-thru only service they would make sure the service is on point!
UPDATE 5/7/22 10:35pm- So I decided to give this location another try after a 9 month break thinking maybe just maybe after ALL the negative reviews management would have stepped in!! Nope in fact it has worsened so much so that tonight they had a sign on the screen that stated "BURGERS ONLY NOTHING ELSE " (photo below)and they absolutely meant that lol they didn't even have drinks!!! Smh Don't know why they just won't shut them down including the one off Blanding which is where I left before coming to this location and the reason I left that one is wait for it lol.....they were telling customers to come back in 20-25 mins smh DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION AFTER 6PM not sure what the situation is prior to 6pm but based on the overall reviews, it sounds like it isn't any better. Read moreDear Management, I am writing to request the termination of an employee ( Christina H) who demonstrated unacceptable behavior and a sever lack of professional during my visit. The incidents in question involved an employee whose action not only tarnished the reputation of your establishment but also significantly undermined the quality of customer service. While I was confirmation my order the employee exhibited a notably nasty attitude. Instead of engaging with courtesy and respect, the employee's behavior demeanor was abrasive and dismissive. Such behavior is detrimental to customer experience and reflects poorly on your store. Then once my order that was brought to me was incorrect. Although mistakes can happen the employees reaction when I was pointing out the mistake was once again unacceptably rude. Rather than apologizing she maintained a hostile attitude which just further exacerbated the situation. " Shouting at me that's what I had while she pulls up the correct order to charge me. I also attempted to confirm the employee's identification to report this issue and she ignored me three times, so I'm using the name provided on this receipt. This lack of transparency and accountability is concerning and violates basic customer service protocols. It suggests both a customer satisfaction and company policy. The combination of these actions suggests a pattern of behavior that is incompatible with the values and standards of this location of Krystal's. Maintain high standards of customer service is crucial in the fast food industry, where competition is everywhere and customer loyalty can be easily swayed by negative experiences. Given these infractions, I strongly recommend that this employee be coached or terminated. Allowing such behavior to continue not only risks further damaging the reputation of your business but also sets a negative precedent for other employees.
